Reviews for Sandrine's 2: You Must Remember This
Sassypants15 chapter 7 . 1/8
I don’t know if you still get notifications for reviews on this platform, but I figured I should just say that I love this story and I love how you write our favorite power couple. I hope that you are finding great joy in new projects and endeavors these days, and if you are ever inspired to write J/C again, it would be a welcomed and treasured gift. Thanks for bringing what you do to this fandom.

I absolutely love this story. I love your writing. I read this story three times already and am sure I will read it again.
Thank you so much!

Aw that was lovely, their proposals were perfect. I love finding fics set on the books verse, I actually love the books, even with all the over complicated plots, too many characters, lack of J/C scenes and development of their relationship but if Peter David had to kill her (I haven't forgive ST for that) I like how KB brought her back and got everyone together in the DQ. Of course I always want more J/C out of the books but that's why it's so great to have awesome fics like yours. I will always have a huge soft spot for the bookverse, it got them together and has a future where Janeway is an admiral and Chakotay is a captain and most of the crew is back together and it's a hundred times better than the dozens and dozens of fics where Starfleet wants to court martial Janeway and arrest all the Maquis that I can't read because I can't imagine what would starfleet get out of that.

Love this one.. So good

Thanks so much for finishing the story, what happened w/ J&C in the end was rather sweet, and yes it would be very nice if in the next Voyager novel (Atonement) our favorite couple's relationship (since it's in the Trek novelverse now) gets a little stability and continuance like in this fic, sigh, well here's hoping!

I read your first Sandrine story and liked it (although the B'Elanna/Harry pairing surprised me), but this one is even better. Yours makes more sense than what Beyers wrote. Then again she was trying to fix the screw up from "Full Circle". Who in their right mind thought that it was a good idea to kill the protagonist of the series? Anyone could have predicted the outrage of the fandom.

I enjoyed your story very much and I'm glad that J/C found a way to each other, despite the torturous road they traveled. If any two people on Voyager deserved a happy ending it's these two.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, Laura, from start to finish. And I took your suggestion and reread Everybody Comes... first. I do like the similarities sprinkled throughout. However, mostly what I enjoyed was the way you so effortlessly nail the characters - all react exactly as they should, their voices echo through the story.
And I couldn't agree more about Beyer - I actually have had her last book on my bedside table for months but haven't yet been able to bring myself to read it. Maybe when the next one comes out... Or not.
As always, thanks for sharing.

So glad you updated this story - I had to go back and re-read the other chapters, but I did so with much enjoyment. I loved your story and oddly, I am still enjoying the relaunch books by Beyer, but I tend to love angsty stories. THANK YOU for finishing this work and sharing it with us. I VERY much enjoyed it and needed this.

Love this. I too find the in-book canon less than satisfactory. Your vision is much more to my liking. Thanks for finishing.

Loved reading every chapter! Thank you! :D
mabb5 chapter 7 . 2/22/2015
Loverly story mirroring the original. Though why did you skip the issue of j&C having children? It would seem to be a logical plot point. Anyway well done. Please write more.
Carrie L chapter 7 . 2/22/2015
Far more satisfying than Beyer, thank you. And I'd love to hear why Beyer's writing drives you crazy.
