NinjaDevil2000 chapter 1 . 3/27/2019 SO lovely and beautiful! Absolutely wonderful! I love Harry and Ginny and I can totally see this actually happening. It was adorable and sweet and cute! Def a fav! :) Great job! :) |
rebecca-in-blue chapter 1 . 7/23/2017 Wow, this is a really beautifully done story - such a perfect, quiet scene of the two of them coming down from the events in CoS. You write their personalities and dialogues very well; they feel like real kids, but Harry has a more mature edge (I love the mention of him sleeping with his wand in his pocket) that suits what he's been through. "was it a born trait, or did it simply come from growing up with a proper family?" Oh, this line is so bittersweet. I also think it segues very well into the rest of the story, as he finds that Ginny (who grew up in the same family) also can't sleep and wonders how he acts so normally. You can almost hear her wondering the reverse, if his survival skills came from growing up without a real family. You can see them growing closer here in how they open up to each other, how Harry rambles on "to keep that little smile on Ginny's face," yet Ginny is still a more realistic character, not the excessive Mary Sue that she was in later books. Really wonderful work. P.S. I'm here reviewing you for the review-a-thon at the Caesar's Palace forum! Come drop by sometime - all fandoms welcome, and I know you've written for a LOT of fandoms! :) |
Hathor-Aroha chapter 1 . 11/28/2013 A beautiful story, you really brought across Harry's and Ginny's characters in a way that was genuine and very much in canon. Despite the somberity of the story, that is, talking about Riddle's diary, you also managed to inject a little humour that did not feel out of place, simply tucked into the dialogue in a very natural way. You definitely have a very strong grasp on dialogue and manage to have your characters interact in a believable way. |
Toaofwriting chapter 1 . 9/29/2013 Awww :D Well done. This was really beautiful. |
eponnia chapter 1 . 9/23/2013 IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GOING TO DIE. Seriously though, I adore the pre-ship friendship they have. Being twelve and eleven obviously makes them too young for romance, but you got it just right. (Not too hot, not too cold). For some reason, I loved the mention of the Goldilocks story. |
