I just read the whole thing in one go and... DAMN you're good! At first I had no sympathy for Gordon but when there was actually no way for him to get out of it and he had to put up with Darla... I really felt sorry for him, poor guy! And she was completely unbearable - she managed to insult pretty much everyone. I would have pushed her off the cliff. BUT that twist... I did NOT see that coming. John is EVIL for putting my favourite Tracy through such trauma. I love him though not gonna lie XD
Anyway I'm off to look for more of your stuff to read cos this was awesome!

Huh? Wait... what just happened?! John... is this his revenge for Gordon ruining his night off that time? If that's what happened then WOOOW John I take my hat off to you sir cos that is the MOTHER OF ALL PRANKS.
I haven't actually read chapter 9 yet but I'm right aren't I? It all makes sense but if its true then John is one devious guy and a true legend who I now love and respect. However if I were Gordon I'm pretty sure I'd throw him over the cliff...

Wonderful wrap-up, Bee. Nice to know there was a purpose to all this beyond John getting back at Gordon for his annoying prank. I was kind of surprised that Penny didn't have any sneaky ways to get more of an identity check on Darla-the police procedurals are always going on about facial recognition and such so I thought she might be able to access something along those lines. Good to see that all wasn't forgiven right away, either. Made the family feel more realistic emotionally.

Now, how about a sequel?

Well of course I had to make some comment about shoes, it is me after all. If there is going to be any point that I pick up on, it's that.

You deserve more sparkles and chocolate chips than I can give you at the moment - particularly now that I've given myself an asthma attack from laughing so hard - but until I can do so ... This was exactly what I needed tonight. You and your fabulous self never fail to deliver. While they were all skittering out of Darla's path whenever possible, I still felt a kindness in Gordon. I felt a love from Virg, even if it initially came from a place of guilt. And Grandma is so much my hero. This was just too much fun.

wow that was absolutely brilliant. I loved this story so much. But ooh how evil of John I'm actually shocked by his actions. I can understand why he did it but still it was really mean.

Oh you so have to write a revenge story at some point. I wanna see Gordon have revenge. for once I really wanna see Gordon succeed.

again so awesome and I never even considered it could be a set up. I only got as far as something wasn't right but had no idea how. Must say I am so glad Gordon didn't actually marry her. You wrote this so well and can't wait until the next story you write.

Fabulas ending to an amazing and uniquely original story, loved it from beginning to end. Darla was an annoying, infuriating but very funny character and who knows, maybe Gordon's found his soulmate?
With everyone smarting from John's deception, I feel that in this case, revenge is a dish best served very cold!

First of all I'm so sorry, I haven't reviewed every chapter like this deserved because I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am so happy my little hunch back at chapter 1 was right after all. I've read it avidly each update but hectic schedule and RL meant I kept forgetting to review. Naughty me.
I was so pleased Darla was nothing like what she portrayed, but ooh I so hope one day you write Gordon's revenge! Naughty John! I love Thunderbird 5 but right now I actually hope Alan has exacted his revenge up there too! Only cos I felt sorry for Tin-Tin and him is all!
This was a fabulous intriguing story and I'm only sorry it's over, look forward now to the next one

Bee, that was a wonderful, terrible joke to play on all of us! Darla...was memorable. But does she get to keep all the designer clothes she bought now?

And three years from now I can just see it. Gordon announces his engagement to Jane...then runs out of the church before the vows and Darla...um...Jane swears she's going to kill John for introducing them in the first place...
