I can appreciate the character/ human flaw of Kagome's anger, and it typically doesn't get her in too much danger, but I wish that she'd reel it in sometimes lol. She's always lashing out first and thinking later! But I guess that's even how people her age in real life are :) I hope she learns to overcome it though

what happens to using the healing swort. Sesho sould have used it to bring back the death. to me, it show the powder over death that he had and neve used. i love emi and the inuyasha dog part.

Holy hecking HECK! I had recently read a fix that I thought was the best I’ve ever read (and I’ve read A LOT), however...your writing and this fic really knocks it out the park. My mind has been blown at the development and sheer detail and hard work that you put into writing this. It’s consistent (consistently amazing) and I love how much attention you devoted to the politics and nuances of wartime. I’m absolutely devastated that Niji died. I wanted Inuyasha to find love and happiness and it’s unfortunate that he still ended up with the short straw. That scene with him transforming though? You should have seen my reaction. I was ECSTATIC. Never have a read a story where the writer allowed him a full transformation. I think it was fully warranted and an incredible addition to the story.

Onto my favorite characters:

1. Kimi for sure! And I could tell that you adored writing her as well.
2. Hisao and Kento! I love how much attention you gave these two and how much they influenced the story. Amazing ocs.
3. Eiji & Eichi! Also loved how they came to deeply care for Kagome and the kids.
4. KO! Of course my girl Ko. I’m so very glad she made it out alive.

Also, THE ARASHI SCENE? “Father” um hELLO. I threw a tantrum. That twist was insane.

So so so many parts of this fic that I thoroughly enjoyed. From the pandemic to conquering a war, I had so much fun reading this. I’m sad it’s over but I’m so very glad I found this gem. Man that ending really cut deep. I love hate the whole time travel thing because it makes me think too hard! Like what came first? The idea of the Inari vision, or seeing the statue in the future? Egg or chicken? I love how expressive Sesshoumaru is with his feelings still and I love how almost doting Kento and Hisao are now towards Kagome

Kimi is definitely a fan favorite character, and the interaction with Hiromoto was lovely. Hope she finds love or companionship soon too!

Wow this chapter made me feel so warm. I loved hearing Sesshoumaru's POV on his feelings for her, and the adoration for every little thing about Kagome just made me melt. Especially the part when he kicked rocks out of the way in order to clear the path for her. Are you kidding me? So dang sweet. You wrote it very well (you write everything very well?). And his monologue at the end of the chapter was so open and vulnerable. What great development. We love a man (demon?) who can communicate!

Reading inuyasha’s character growth makes my heart warm.

Ughhh this chapter. This had me in my feels. I'm worried for the inevitable event that Kags gets kidnapped and Sesshoumaru goes crazy. My heart is gonna GIVE OUT!

My girl Ko! Hang in there! I’m enjoying the interaction between Kimi and Inuyasha a lot, and I’m glad she’s filling in as a more maternal personality. I want everyone to be one big family!

I’m surprised at inuyasha’s nonchalance at kagomes kidnapping, like...how many times has she gotten kidnapped? And the interaction between Kimi and Inuyasha is great. I love Lady Kimi what a character. Especially the bit with her and Emi, it reminds me of Edna and Jack Jack. :-)

Ko! I hope she lives to see the fall of the north. This chapter was so strong. I can totally imagine the scene with Kag and Ko in a movie as she sacrifices herself for kagome. So sad
