Ugh re-reading this I forgot how much I wanted more... Toby is such a good well fleshed our character I just enjoy watching him live his life with this hanging over him. Well maybe enjoy might be a cruel word,
But you know what I mean.

Wow. I didn't know this story existed until you mentionned it while discussing Coronation on Ao3. But well, I'm in the fandom since less than one year and got the habit of not reading on-goinig stories that have not be updated in the last year ... It's all about heartbreak. x)
Of course I couldn't resist the appeal, and now I've done it. Even if ... I liked Toby's Wish so much because through a third party's eyes, we could see the vilain's way to victory. Your writing is very eloquent on the distress the characters trapped by Jareth feel, but I can't help to be genuinely happy that the bad guy got his way. And I'm afraid that this story will ruin Jareth's "happy ending".
So, sure, nothing forces me to read it and it's highly possible that "The vilain gets what he wants and lives happily with no retributions" was never the story you wrote. It is the story I read though. I might be a little twisted.

To sum it up, while I am at war with myself about that beautifully promising story that is Toby's revenge, I really hope that you manage to complete it someday. Your writing is spot on, emotional ... It's not often that I feel for the characters of a story. Really, you're amazing. Please keep going, you're a gift to the world.

Huh. For an immortal, Jareth's obsessive behavior seems very human. Like, I can believe he's got a severe case of antisocial personality disorder, among other things. What I'm saying is, his brand of insanity seems like "common variety" human evil. You don't need to be immortal, supernatural, or all-powerful to become as big an asshole as Jareth, basically. I don't know. The depiction of his character as a purely evil villain is quite unique, but it does cut out/diminish a few of his cannon character qualities (Obviously, or he wouldn't be evil enough. He'd probably fall under the category "Too sexy to be evil" XD).

I loved the first story and would to see this one continue as it is already amazing in its plot development

I just wanted to thank you for these fantastic stories! Toby's Wish was beyond amazing and had me hooked when I first discovered it when you were still in the early chapters. Your depictions of the characters are superb and I enjoyed how real the characters came across (no mary sue's or john doe's). Dark Jareth was fantastic as well ;). I truly hope one day you will return to this story and continue on with the tale. Thank you again and I hope life is amazing!

Just reread your story and dang! I had forgotten how much I absolutely loved it. The way you took Toby and made him a selfish brat but with enough of a heart to make him still relatable was masterfully done, and I think the newfound maturity is a nice contrast. I do hope you will continue the sequel! I am most anxious to see how it progresses...and I am just puttin it out there, but I would absolutely love to get a glimpse of what life with Jareth has been like for Sarah these past seven years

Hey there! Long time reader of this awesome story and it's predecessor. But first time reviewer:(! Oh well, no time like the present; I'll start off saying; how much of a true skeptic I was seeing that your story (Toby's Wish) was mainly about Toby, and HIS life, and we hardly get any Jareth and Sarah scenes at all!... But. As I got into it, I could not ignore the amazing creativity, the knowledge of teen boys and their high school adventures, and just how amazingly well written it was! No. Critiques. What. So. Ever. From me.

And I know that you've got real life stuff going on, and original books to write (which I'd DEFINITELY read btw). But when you do come back to this incredible story, can I suggest that you pretty please give us a little of what Sarah is going through these past (seven?) years, and how she was able to visit Toby again?! Unless it completely takes away from your plot then you don't have to do this; it's just a thought and it'd make me SUPER happy:))
