Reviews for Don't Say No
Guest chapter 40 . 11/8/2019
Well I loved the story over all however the abrupt ending caught me off guard a bit. The ending left too many loose ends. But over all a great read.

I really enjoyed this! There were parts that made me laugh out loud, more than once. The love story seemed very true to the characters presented, and it was a delight. I just wish you had written more so that it seemed more finished. What a great read! Thank you for sharing your story telling.
CharmH chapter 6 . 3/8/2019
I agree with Jane. Dinner will be a lot of fun.
CharmH chapter 5 . 3/8/2019
Oh, yes. There is definitely something going on between Jane and Maura. The boys have picked up on it.

I am back to finish your FanFiction story. Sorry it took me so long to get back to it. Life happened. It gave me the privilege of having to reread the previous chapters. I still think your writing is absolutely stunning. I am really enjoying it!
CharmH chapter 4 . 1/20/2019
So Jane gets Jasmine to leave Maura by just being her Detective persona. Not bad going, Jane. Very well written.

The undercurrent of attraction between Maura and Jane can be cut by a knife. The two are flirting in a not so playful manner, as they used to. The anticipation of that current breaking and exploding is almost unbearable.
CharmH chapter 3 . 1/19/2019
Jane's jealousy is driving her to be a real bitch. Maura will hopefully pick up on it.

I have to confess, I don't get the 'cereal' initial comment by Jane. Could someone shed some light for me, via a PM?
CharmH chapter 2 . 1/19/2019
Jane is fully distracted by Maura. It is really bothering her that Maura brought Jasmine with her. The early signs of jealously. I wonder if she will recognise and acknowledge it in herself.

Excellent writing, I do like the story.
CharmH chapter 1 . 1/19/2019
Hahaha I loved the opening chapter. This can only get better.
sally rally chapter 40 . 10/13/2018
There are no words. At least not good enough. I laughed so hard, and felt the love. So good.
sally rally chapter 7 . 10/13/2018
OMG! That is the funniest thing I have EVER read. I have to go back and read it again right now. You must be some sort of humor genius, because I have never laughed so much, so hard in any book or fanfiction story. I think I might love you. I needed that so bad. Thank you.

Guest chapter 26 . 12/10/2017
Annnddddd, I'm out. Again, the stupidity is too much. The 3 of them taking on an unknown number of agents, and not knowing who was where? The fact that patrol cruisers were in the area, having just arrested the guys in the Caddie, but didn't hear the shots or stop Blake and Johnson? Things conveniently going south in the room with Turrin and the rest? No information from the FBI, and the Lt. choosing to keep them out of the loop and out of contact with him after they told him - and there's no way in hell that it wouldn't have gotten to him - that Maura was taken? Sorry, it's all far too far. And I'm sure that Blake and/or Johnson are going to show up and take Maura or Jane away, despite heightened security and awareness, yada yada yada.

I know others like this, and I do wish you luck with this and any other stories, but I just can't keep going with this. It's the same as when they do this in the actual shows - smart people doing dumb things just pisses me off too much.
Guest chapter 24 . 12/10/2017
Okay, you gave Maura a good scene, so that's a plus. Turrin getting his guts was another. Should've pistol-whipped Hadmore to make sure he stayed down, but we'll let that go. But if Blake is able to pull something on Turrin, this goes back to heading toward dumb. And that only the 3 detectives are coming is already bad enough - what, they don't know any uniformed officers to help? Not Frankie? Nobody else? C'mon!
Guest chapter 23 . 12/10/2017
*groan* And it gets worse. Blake's rationale is so pathetically false that nobody would buy it, and even with the sway she has over the other agents, they wouldn't go along with it. If Maura doesn't immediately let Jane know it's a trap and to come in with dozens of cops as backup, this will officially turn into pure crap.
Guest chapter 22 . 12/10/2017
Okay, I'm sorry, but no. Just, no. There's far too much suspension of disbelief in this story, too many plot contrivances and conveniences. First, there is no way that only Jane and Blake would have served that warrant. It's high risk, and that requires specific things, including more than the two of them. Second, there's no need for any experienced officer to look down to holster their weapon, especially when they are concerned about what someone else in the room might do. Third, there are specific protocols for shootings, both at the state and federal level, and Blake could not get around them no matter how connected she is - that's just fiction. Fourth, knowing that Blake lied, they would not have left Maura alone, or at least not set up a warning for ANY of Blake's team showing up. Maura also could have said no, and there's not thing one that Hadmore could have done about it - raising a stink in the morgue where Susie could hear it would have tipped everyone off. Last, as soon as they realized she was taken, they would have put out a call to uniformed police and patrol units to find the FBI cruiser.

About the only smart thing they did here was that Maura made sure the pictures were safe, which quite frankly I expected you to have made them be stolen from the car they were in. So maybe they actually will find her and quickly, and also take care of Blake, either using Vince's contact, the Lt., or their own smarts. But I have a feeling this will drag on with more and more stupidity on their part, and conveniences rather than fewer.
