With avatar on Netflix I’ve been rereading the stalking universe, which lead me to this. I love the idea of nanny!ursa and her becoming a Joo Dee makes the most sense.

I guess you stopped writing this fic, since the comic about what really happened to Ursa came out, but I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your version of this.
Indeed, not knowing who she is was the only way for Ursa not to try and go find Zuko, so her being a Joo Dee made a lot of sense, since it is the only thing in the series which provided all this brainwashing thing.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god. The DRAMA! The Suspense! The Emotions! What a well done, engaging, and all round fun story. I am a sucker for a soppy reunion, and this story will fuel hours of daydreaming for me. AHHH Thank you! I'm so glad I ventured over to FFN from Ao3 for my annual fandom check and found your account here. Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts.

Oh, I love the premise of this story - how Ursa would end up as Toph's nanny making Zuko and Toph official step-siblings (they totally deserve each other). And then get in the Dai Li's clutches in Ba Sing Se. Makes way more sense than that Search nonsense.

Omg! All this world you created is amazing! Is this unfinished? After read this I know that is connected with the other stories you have, Is there something more comming? I mean if you planed a story where ursa, toph and zuko meet again (: and azula of course haha

I hope you can return to this story! I am twisted up with suspense wondering how it all comes together. Also, I’ve been trying to brainstorm who the last Joo Dee Lian might have been...you’ve hinted outdoorsy rebel...surely not...Jet’s mother? Or someone related to Jet or Smellerbee? I hope Azula joins them on their search and utilizes her genius “cold case” skills you referred to in one headcanon for her future.
I will follow in hopes for more to this story!

I loved your stalking series, and I love this maybe impossibly more, and it's such an enjoyable read and it kind of breaks my heart that Zuko and his mum have been left here not-finding each other - so if you carry it on, you have one very devoted reader here!

I like your story better than the official comics! Your Ursa in particular is so much better and her story makes much more sense. The other characters feel very true to their cartoon depiction as well. A pity that Azula isn't along for the ride, but she couldn't have gone to Ba Sing Se with them. Maybe she'll manage to pop up somewhere along the way, though? She is a genius, even if a troubled one, after all.

Devastated that there isn't more. This is a wonderful, character rich, story that is JUST RIGHT. You should take over and write the comics, this is what canon should be.

wohoooo. You updated not only once, but twice in just a few weeks! I LOVE it when teachers have summer holidays :). (You wrote you are a teacher,so I'm just guessing you have/had summer holidays...) Especially chapter 6 was a true joy to read and I'm so happy that you didn't let this first lead turn into nothingness. I look foreward to seeing what will happen once they reach Ba Sing Se. Queen Song will probably have the shock of her life.
