The weird thing is, I read Lolita for school years ago, can only vaguely recall what happens in it, and now really wish I could for comparison purposes. Oh, well. Really enjoyed this story, particularly the twists and turns.

You did a pretty decent job with this story. I say you captured Nabokovs writing well, and even managed to get the reader to sympathize with Gohan, like the reader sympathiyes with Humbert in Lolita. Granted it isn't perfect, but far better than what most could hope to do. Goku was definitely a surprise in the story, especially with what he did with Videl.

For some reason your twisted goku is not interesting...but ice read Lolita so its still well written compared to it. Great job!

What I've learned so far is, Goku can't sense energy or use instant transmission to figure out what's going on, chi chi's gone senile, every major character has a personality warp, gokus fall apparently resulted in more fictional damage than amnesia. Gohan didn't defeat cell on his own at all he constantly had his fathers help to push him forward, Goku also lent some of his energy in the kamehameha clash which even Vegeta helped out in. Gohans contribution in the fight with Frieza was the equivalent of yamchas contribution in fighting a cell jr. Its easy to see this as a whole new anime at this rate, we get it, you changed a lot of plot points to turn it into a dark fic, but it's on a new level or unrealistic that's hard to take seriously.

So gohan dislikes his father even though he died for him 2 times in total? And saved the entire planet a could dozen times? Daddy issues are not that big of a deal when compared to the destruction of the universe. If Goku hadn't left for seven years he wouldn't have been able to go that far with buu without the special training he had. Unfortunately it seems a lot of authors disregard this to push whatever plot they are going for. And why is Goku this stupid? Seriously every fic you right has the same ooc Goku who's mentally challenged. Even the z version of Goku wasn't this stupid. Delete this review if you want I've said my piece.

I like your stories and all but I have one question that's been on my mind for a while, why is Goku so OOC? There are times where his stupidity is accurate with the show but even he isn't mentally damaged enough to not notice how Valese was being abused by goten.

I'm rereading this because to this day, it's still one of the most impactful things I've ever read.

Utterly brilliant. Honestly. I love Gohan in this. I mean, I hate him, but I can see the action so clearly and you depict him wonderfully and chillingly.

Omg yes. Your stories are complete perfection. They run the gambit; making me feel things that I didn't know I was capable of.

I think most people don't understand dark fic, writing them off as disturbing, which they are, but rarely does someone pull it off this well. Here we have a complicated tale that explores the human psyche through an unstable person's mind, allowing us stable humans to see just how far darkness can take you when you begin to justify it.

Hello! I initially found your story on adult-fanfiction .. My first thought was, "Why in the hell does such a wonderfully-written story have zero reviews or ratings?" I went on a search for it because it was too good of a story NOT to be completed. Your writing style is absolutely beautiful, perhaps the best I've ever seen (that is speaking volumes because I've read A LOT of fanfiction.) Your talent is something I can only wish I had to be honest. :) Holy hell. Rust & Stardust has blown me away and I'm only getting ready to read chapter 13.

At first, I wasn't really sure what Gohan's intentions are, but I absolutely loved the mysterious part you integrated into the beginning of the story. It just sucked me in and I can't stop reading over here. I noticed a couple of very small typos in previous chapters but nothing to freak out about. This story is beautiful, it's haunting, it's disgusting, it's weirdly and awkwardly hot, but I am seriously in love. I could go on and on and on and on. The only thing that bugged me a little was how easily Bulla had opened up about how Goten had raped her (I assume. I haven't finished reading yet.) Aside from this minor detail, HOLY SHIT.
