YinuoTong chapter 16 . 4/8 Oh dear, this is truly terrible. I guess you guys could have deleted the whole lady-or-not-finding-the-hidden-document thing and just write they found lots of gold gave them to the poor, cuz they don't need it and lived happily ever after. Eh, but that won't be fun or EVIL. |
YinuoTong chapter 11 . 4/8 Yassss! Finally found time to review, school started (the online courses are driving me mad). Anyways I finished this story in a frenzied state and I have to say that I am impressed with how mature Jacob is, I mean how on earth did he just think of the legitimate heir issue when obviously no one else did. Huge respect to him. |
YinuoTong chapter 3 . 4/2 Beatrice is a B***, she deserves a slow tormenting death, so does Phillip. I wish that Beatrice's death could be more agonizing *grit teeth* Just think of all those nasty things she had done. I had no idea that someone fictional could ruin my mood, but this one sure did (the character did it, it has nothing to do with the writing, the writing is,as always, shockingly good). I'm really impressed that you could dig out so much information from the original story. Now I am going to go to the balcony and yell my head of, there's so much hate in me, I think I need some air. |
MissyH316 chapter 25 . 7/11/2019 BRAVO! (She applauds wildly as she rises with the rest of the exuberant audience in an uproarious standing ovation!) Thank you for this wonderful, EPIC story! Y'know, I could see this being extended a long time with stories about the von Desslar family legacy. ;-) -Love y'all, Missy |
MissyH316 chapter 21 . 7/11/2019 Hip hip, HUZZAH! :-) May the marriage of Lord and Lady von Desslar be long, fruitful, and gloriously happy as God has blessed their union as they're on their way to being together ...FOREVER! |
MissyH316 chapter 12 . 7/10/2019 I just read the reviews on this chapter AND, like everyone else, I was heartbroken over the King's anullment of Erik & Christine's marriage and his idea of "interchangeable wives". But this also made history-buff me curious as to whether or not Kings (or Queens, I guess) had the power to grant annulments during the time this story is set - and I'm still not sure. I agree with another reviewer who said they thought only the church could grant anullments under certain conditions, which sounds right - but I think they often did NOT do so if the marriage had already been consummated which, obviously, E & C have done. But in the time setting of this story, marriages of royalty or the nobility were arranged by the couple's families, mostly for political purposes: love didn't enter into the equation. Women usually had no say in the matter at all; maybe the men didn't always, either). The couple were bound by duty to abide by the choice of the family, and were expected to live with it (unlike England's Henry VIII). I think most of us today would NOT fit in too well with the rules and norms of royalty back then! ANYWAY - Let's see if this story ends happily OR, as is the case in many operas, tragically. I'm betting on "happily". :-) |
MissyH316 chapter 11 . 7/10/2019 Ooo! Sounds like THIS Erik has some of a Phantom Erik in him as well! But at least both are smart enough to be contrite and truly sorry for their times of stupidity! ;-) |
MissyH316 chapter 8 . 7/10/2019 All wonderful! And not only did the lowly servant Christine prove to have a tender heart full of love to give, she also had a stong backbone of courage, and a very keen, intelligent mind! My goodness; she's Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the un-"Cowardly" Lion all rolled into one! Well whady'ya know! :-) |
MissyH316 chapter 4 . 7/9/2019 Ah! What swet relief that THAT horrific battle is over, and the Von Desslers and their household are safe. :-) |
MissyH316 chapter 2 . 7/9/2019 HOLY COW! Phillipe and Beatrice must've actually been spawned by Satan himself! |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/15/2019 Good job. Can you pls finish the mask and the slipper too? Another good story unfinished by the same author x |
Guest chapter 25 . 8/17/2018 I love your ending very much. U have done an excellent job. I’m reading your other stories in your list: angel of Persia. So far so good. Would u pls also put an end to the phanfic story Dark Prince by Don Juan Triumphants. She wrote a similar story with similar setting like tapestry of deceit and also abandon the story at the most exciting part just like ladyrosesong too. Well, it’s just a suggestion. I love ur writing very much. |
Guest chapter 8 . 8/12/2018 The love making scene in the stables is a good one. It makes me crack up when Bernard discovered the what the couple were doing. |
Crystalmoon2001 chapter 25 . 5/30/2018 This was so wonderful loved the ending once Christine and Eric were married once more. Thank you so much |
Crystalmoon2001 chapter 12 . 5/29/2018 WHAT!? OMG. I’ve been wondering if you’d broach the subject of a lord marrying a servant, and what would happen... Anulled.. Poor Christine... Poor Eric... I hope things work out, but unfortunately I have to stop reading for the night.. oh my lord... |
