Adorable story, as usual. One itty bitty little thing though:

"He was about to comment on it when the light turned and the bus shot forward, throwing Shinichi into the seat in front of him."

If the bus was speeding up, then Shinichi would have been pushed Backwards, not forwards, and into the seat he was sitting on. People jerk forwards when the vehicle is stopping or slowing down, so he wouldn't have been thrown forward if the bus was taking off from a red light. Laws of inertia, ya know? UNLESS he was facing the back of the bus in a rear-facing seat, because in that case he WOULD have been thrown forward and toward the seat in front if him (forward from his perspective, backwards from the perspective of Kaito and the bus), but obviously if he's looking at Kaito, who is driving at the front, he's facing forward, not back. Plus he "leaned forward" at one point to see that the bus driver had familiar indigo eyes, so there's that evidence too that the seat isn't rear-facing. And who would sit in an empty bus with their back to the only other person there when front-facing seats were available? Yeah, so...

I'm so, so sorry. I'm kind if a real stickler and nerd and I know waaay too much about absolutely useless things, and nothing escapes my scrutiny. I'm horrible. X'D

Honestly, it's nothing, really. I just thought you might like to know that tid-bit of information. I'm not actually trying to criticize you, honest. I really love your works: I've read just about all of them, so...

Seriously, of all your stories that I read, this one is one of my favorites. I really liked how Kaito reacts when Shinichi tells him that he is stalked. Knowing that there is a good chance that Kaito is one of them too, isn't it? (How would he know where Shinichi lives otherwise?)

Aw~! Kaito's so cute! Poor Shinichi, Ran was mean to him. Luckily Kaito was there though. ;)

This was great and it would be funny to see what would happen if Kaito happened to catch one of those 'other people' stalking Shinichi.

That was a funny and cute story. And Kid obviously carried the sleeping Shinichi to his house to his bed, knowing where it is... absolutely not stalkerish. xD

well in the spirit of making other people as happy as I am right now (was on a cruise and came back to folder full of story updates - this being one of them - I am still on my holiday high )) this story was very touching (and Ran - shame on you, he is just as much a victim as you are, even more so!) and I am going to look forward to either a continuation or some other Kai/shin Shin/Kai - smile people, it makes you happy (even if you do it on command)
