The story started off by not going into what the issue was and then it turns out the writer wanted to chalk everything up to a psychosis, yet that's not how split personalities are formed let alone the symptoms. The motives for the split personality don't make any sense, but her Kiingon side still retains the metal capacity of the other B'Elanna? Nope, just doesn't work.
