This story was awesome! I love stories about the beginning of the SPN universe, but this one takes it to a whole new level. The details you put into this, the whole Host of Heaven you used, the mythology you followed while still creating a very original story... man I'm more impressed than you can imagine. I love the way you made Heaven work, the way you wrote the Angels, I love that you wrote it from Gabriel's perspective, and how you made the Angels really feel like Angel by describing the whole dynamics of wings and grace. It's awesome. The best story I've read so far about Gabriel's life in Heaven. I can't wait to read the sequel!

This fic was the very first thing that came to mind while I was watching the season 10 finale! I read this last year, I believe? And the mental imagery you gave of the Darkness stuck with me for this long. I hope that means something to you! :) I may have to do another read through, see if maybe you can fulfill any prophecies!

And that was some of the most boring, poorly thought out, stuff I have ever read. What do you mean by poorly thought out? Canonly, it didn't matchup. It felt like you were trying to mash other fandoms in overlaying, or completely obscuring, the true canon. And all that religious bullshit. Yes, I know Supernatural has it but even they pointed out more wrong then right. Jesus isn't even refered to as the "Son of God" but son of the Carpenter refering to Joseph. So yeah, boring and poorly constructed but a fine read if I were reading some Bible slash fiction instead of Supernatural. There were better ways of writing this is all I am saying.

Go ahead and bite me whiny fanbrats, but this is my opinion and I stand by it.

I'm entirely wrapped up in reading this story. It's truly excellent - almost makes me wish I used social media just so I could share it with others. :-)

Is Cariel going to be Kali? I can't decide if that's more or less sad than Cariel dying before Gabriel leaves.

I'm starting to love cariel, and all the while knowing that Gabriel was not married as Loki. I'm afriad that either Cariel dies before Gabriel leaves, or he is that OC that you mentioned in the first chapter, and they split sometime later.

Lol, just picturing Sean's face of Cas told him that... 'You killed the unicorns?' And then Cas being defensive, like 'it was an accident'.

Okay, just one question: WHY DID CARIEL USE CROWLEY'S CATCHFRASE?! Screw homework, I gotta keep reading and find out if there is any truth in my suspicions :) Still love the story, keep up the good work.
