i was too eager for the smut, it didnt happen till the end but i didnt find it disappointing. maybe because its worth the wait. the slow build of the story paid off. i like that its not an instant romance. not a love at first sight since it was so cliche. thank you for sharing.

Ah, sad day. It is only two chapters! But by God, what an ending. So perfect, so beautifully written. When they were standing in the memorial gardens, I was struck by the way your descriptions are able to paint a picture. You offer just enough information that allows the readers' mind to fill in the cracks, and the mental image I had of the garden was absolutely breathtaking. I could see Raleigh and Mako standing side by side there, and it was amazing.

I absolutely love how the end tied into the beginning. I have a hard time writing short stories. It's one or the other for me: a true one-shot or a long multi-chap. This was so wonderful. I'll definitely be checking out the sequel on AO3! So happy that I stumbled upon this :)

So when I first saw PacRim, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. For whatever reason though, we never bought it, and it wasn't until a few nights ago, when it was on tv, that I saw it again.

My obsession with Raleigh and Mako flared up again and I started trolling the listing for stories. Most are horribly short, and I have a hard time investing myself in them because I know it'll end all too soon. I was hesitant to click on yours because it's only two chapters (as of now - not sure if you plan on writing more?), but I'm so so happy that I did.

I love your writing style. It's very good at keeping your readers in the moment and because of that, there's an underlying sense of urgency in every word you put down on "paper". It keeps us on the edge and that's something I feel like a lot of stories are lacking in (my own included).

I love the way you capture these two. Not only are they accurate to their movie selves, but you've given their relationship more depth and reasoning than we were privy to. It's insight like that, that gives characters living, breathing identities, and what also makes stories come alive.

I'm excited to read more, and I hope that you continue to write more. I haven't read the next chapter yet, so I'm not sure if this was meant to be a shorter thing, but I sincerely hope not.

Damnn that was an amazing story! I love your portrayal of all the characters, while allowing Mako to slowly accept her feelings for Raleigh. I really hope you are working on a sequel because i need to know what happens next!

So apparently I'm behind on my movie watching lol. Finally saw Pacific rim last night and just love the Raleigh/Mori pairing. This is a great story. Consider writing more for them please!
