Wonderful story! I just remembered this scene in "Band ofBrothers" following the life of the medic.. Within that episode he met a nurse, dressed in grey with a blue scarf, and formed a bond with her- sharing a bar of chocolates, sharing stories, she even gave him an epiphany about his grandma (who was a healer in New Orleans), ,.. At the end of that episode when he returned to the makeshift hospital (that was a cathedral, I think) he just saw it turned into rubble.. He ran around it for signs of life and just saw the blue scarf.. It was a poignant scene but being an eternal optimist, I was hoping he saw her again after that..
Hope Tom and Sybill meet up again and you can share THAT story.

I really, really loved this and it was such a sweet little story. It's not hard to imagine Sybil actually on the war front and Tom's adorable as usual.
