I like this story. Law and Luffy, their interactions always make me laugh.

Poor Law! I felt bad for him pretty much the whole time. XD

This did not, in any way, meet the expectations set by the prior story.

Luffy as groundkeeper... Sure, why not? He will more likely than not enjoy taste of them magical beasties.

Somehow I keep imagining Luffy and Law arriving back on the Thousand Sunny with Law immediately asking for booze while Luffy ‘explains’ that at some point he took a test and scored 25th on it. At which point a rather despondant Law says “No Luffy, you scored in the 25th percentile.” “Isn’t that what I said?” “My way means in a room of 99 other wizards you would score higher than 74 of them.” (After smoke starts coming out of Luffy’s ears) “... But that would still mean I scored 25th?” At which point the horrified Strawhats had over the booze.

"Maybe the boy had hidden wells of knowledge just waiting for the proper stimulation to be put to use.
"Luffy chose that moment to see how far up his nose he could stuff his finger."

Nonono, Law! Don't you see? This action is him trying to access that hidden knowledge again!

this is pretty good and funny

The part about Luffy wanting to defeat a mystery bad guy is ooc. Despite numerous heroic actions Luffy took during the course of the series, he NEVER did anything out of the goodness of his heart. Luffy is actually more "revenge driven" than typical shonen protagonists, in that he only beat people up for beating his friends, and is a pirate through-and-through. That means Luffy won't care about Voldemort unless he made a wizard friend, or felt that Voldy is personally a threat to Law

While I think you could have done a lot more with this fic/idea, I greatly admire the way you at least finished. I know how it's like to not have any motivation to do something, and I get tired of all the authors that drop stories or seemingly drop off the face of the earth.

Also, why the heck didn't Dumbledore use the summoning spell Hermione did? Things could have been wrapped up ages ago. (Eh, maybe that's the actual reason.)

I read it, so I don't know that part (the mist thingy). Do you know which episode?
