I like this story. My only issue with it is the change of name for the 3rd of the holy man's boys.

hey I love reading your stuff so much! Ive read this like 6 times! And I no some people hate these kind of ideas, but its just an idea, I noticed your a fantastic writer and was wondering if you need ideas, that I thought it would be kind of cute if you did a story on pitch black but with the characters like in a pirates life. You no Carolyn could be the second mate and she and the rest could be escorting passengers and Riddick who is a pirate could come in with his crew and do wht pirates do and ill let you think of the rest. Would love you forever if you did this idea. but its ok if you don't do it. lov u!

WOW, first off i would love to say that this happens to be my favorite fry/riddick story. The whole time while i was reading i had no complaints whatsoever; the storyline is amazing, the characters are perfect, and i love the fact that they live "happily ever after"...i mean the movie is sheer AWESOMENESS lol, but this is sheer PERFECTION! D now if this were a movie i would be watching it nonstop. so congrats on being an excellent writer and im really happy to have stumbled upon this story..maybe even one day you could write another fry/riddick story!

You know why I don't like the Pitch Black movie? Cuase it doesn't have a happy ending! You know why I love this fanfic? CAUSE IT DOES! (I really do love the movie... I'd just love it more if it had a happier ending)

But man this was awesome, it was well written and everyone stayed in character. I love the added dept you gave Imam too.

Half way through I wanted to stop reading, well because I knew it just couldn't have a happy ending. The realationship between Fry and Reddick was getting so deep and intwined that I just didn't want the horror/heartbreak that I knew would have to happen for the story to follow the movie.

I'm so glad I kept reading and that you redid the ending.

I did not tell you how much I loved your take on this movie so much more than Carolyn dying and Riddick going on(and later being involved with Jack, as so many of the stories go..*shudders* ew!)

Awesome story about two shattered and darkened souls finding the light together and making each other whole and stronger than before. I think you got Riddick's voice just right. Thank you so much for posting this.

There are so few good Pitch Black stories out there that yours simply blew me away.

It was heartbreaking and gut wrenching and an utterly great read.

Your portrayal of Fry as the hardened docking pilot being awakened emotionally by Riddick is very believable, as is your Riddick. You manage to make him as close to the monster as needed but by providing insight into his conflicting feelings one could rightfully feel compassion with the killer.

You provide interesting plot additions to canon like Imams Company origins or Riddicks past as a Company spook. Also you maneuver nicely to change canon just so to have Fry survive as well. It was great to "watch" the movie again with a Riddick/Fry tint so to speak.
