This was a charming story. I'm glad that King Triton was calm and reasonable, and Flounder also made some good points. Ariel and Eric getting to know each other in a safe, relaxed way was also a nice touch. I really love your stories and the way you write, so I look forward to reading more of your stuff.

Aw! While not giving us the delightful movie we all know and love to some degree, I kinda wish the movie went this way. Its so much more adorably fluffy!

I love how you managed to capture the love, concern, and hope between a father and a daughter here. The way it is told gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Written in appropriate fairytale fashion, this is was a wonderful happily ever after tale!

All it took was less storming, yelling, hiding, lying... The father and daughter actually communicated, rather than commanding and rebelling.

It was a much shorter story, but the ending is far more satisfying. And nothing needed to be stolen, and no one needed to be killed. It's a beautiful thing.
