Your words were magic incarnate.
You could be cursing me to hell and back and it would still sound like angels were singing.
Admittedly, I would probably cry, but mostly from the beauty of it all.
I'm not joking, there is a certain poetic lyricism to your words. The parentheses were a nice touch and actually fitting when inserted.

You caught each character PERFECTLY (the metaphors, man, the metaphors...), even if it was all from Yukiatsu's perspective. I read each line at least thrice, AT LEAST. Your hard work paid off because you really captured the essence of all that is Yukiatsu here but I still never understood why he had to make life much more complicated for himself than it has to be... is it guilt or what? Or why he subjects himself to pretending all the time. Or perhaps I should just go finish the series now.

Lovely, bells-san, thank you for writing. As always, this is an amazing piece. I read the previous stories of your series and I have to say I love them all. I really like how you noted the Super Peace Buster's individual characteristics through Yukiatsu's eyes and I especially like how they points out Yukiatsu's casual cruelty. Is it strange to think that it's only around the Super Peace Busters that he is ever so cruel and in turn, that also means that's the only time he is truly himself (because he pretends for all other people).

I think it's so true about Yukiatsu's onesided rivalry with Jinta, because Jinta has always been to ooblivious to notice it. Anyway, your language in the story is great and it flows extremely well. I can't tell that English is not your mother tongue at all.

Please continue to write.

I've been meaning to get around to this for months, but I've been so busy with schoolwork. I'm glad I waited until I could give it my full attention, though, because this absolutely deserved it!

I wish I could figure out how you do it, but you have such a way of weaving in all these complex feelings without really saying anything, and without drawing attention to it. It's so subtle, and it really makes the tone of the whole piece so incredibly beautiful. Honestly, I would read this just for how gorgeous it is and the emotional mood of it, but on top of that you've understood the characters so wonderfully.

I especially loved the scenes between Yukiatsu and Tsuruko, and not just because Tsuruko is my favorite character. I think there is a lot of their personalities that has developed because of their interactions with each other, and you capture that so well, all the complexities and subtleties of their relationship.

Really, I just don't know how to impress upon you how much I love this. It's beautifully written, and it makes me want to go back and watch the whole show over again. It makes my heart hurt in the best kind of way. I just don't have words to explain how special I think your writing is, because somehow you've woven this piece out of something more than words. I could go on and on, but truly: this is one of my favorite things I've ever read. I can't wait to read more from you!

OH MY GOSH I had no idea there was an AnoHana film either! I just watched the trailers and I really want to see it.
I really like writing too! I don't really get a sense of happiness, but rather one of...satisfaction? Something like that. Whenever I write, it's similar to releasing a burden from my shoulders or settling my emotions and it calms me. :)

I really enjoyed the way you started with Yukiatsu predicting the future of each of the Super Peace Busters and then ended with him being unable to predict the future for anyone really at all. It was a nice use of circular narrative and was well executed.
"It's so funny (in the tragic kind of way) to see how most people in life change—or don't change. Funny because one would think that life should be important enough to make things change. The truth is, most people don't. People don't change.
But the Super Peace Busters—they do."
These were my favorite lines in the story! I really like the theme of change that you incorporated and the statements are very true.
All in all I really enjoyed this fic! Thanks for the alert and sorry about the long review. :D
