Utterly fantastic story! I am so glad I found it! I've been looking for Merlin stories that I haven't read and it is sad that since the show is over, the Merlin fanfiction is waning! So glad I got to enjoy this. Just wish it was longer, it ended too soon! And I wondered if the little Druid girl escaped. You should write some more, you are really good! Thanks!

I cannot believe this was your first ever fanfic! It's fabulous! Not only is the concept great but the execution is fantastic... your writing is clear and fluent and descriptive (and technically good too - your grammar etc is great) and the way you construct your story, the plotting and the way you build tension etc, is really good too. I really really enjoyed this story. I am a sucker for Merlin whump fic (and badass Merlin too!) and this was my absolutely favourite type of Merlin whump fic - *well written* Merlin whump fic! :)

There was so much emotion in this story, as well as lovely whump, and I think you captured Arthur's personality, and his inner monologue and conflict, really well. And awww poor Merlin! The whump was delicious!

I realise it's been a couple of years since you posted this story but I sincerely hope that you will come back to writing fanfic, whether it be for Merlin or other fandoms, because you are genuinely very good at it and I would love to read more by you. :)
