I know that this is an abandoned fic but I will still express my appreciation. For a lovely study in how one lie leads to another. For showing how easily LN if not moderated by compassion can slip into LE. How things left unsaid may quickly stack up into tremendous missunderstandings.

i don't get it... how can amaro choose neo like that? i thought that the companion needs to relise first otherwise the bond will not hold? maybe i am wrong

Well, not all the stories are... Well, storybook. The choosing could have been written more dramatically, but then again, it was not the circumstances in which the beauty of the moment could have been described and savored without making it all sort of fairytale-ish.

*smile* Just write a chapter of Neo and Amaro visiting Apple and Rellik and everything will be forgiven, I think.

A couple of misspellings, and the final part of the last chapter could be worked on a bit, but I liked it.

A very good ending, though it kind of cut short, more like a cliffhanger than an ending. Ah, well, at least you DO have a sequel, right? And I can't wait to see what's going on in there.
I love your original characters in this story; I actually CARE about Neo, which is a surprise whenever I run into originals, you know?
My point is, great story, I'm off to read the next one.
