Raxicoricofallapatorious chapter 36 . 4/27/2015 I put off leaving a review until the last chapter because I didn't want to stop reading and my review wouldn't make you post any faster because this fic is finished. And boy howdy am I glad it is. I do not know the frequency of your updates, but I can promise you that if I had picked up this story prior to its completion, I would have been in constant agony. Just waiting for the next chapter to load was enough time to feel the deep, hollow ache that filled my chest. This story is phenomenal in so many ways. The concept itself is beautiful, the execution is breathtaking, and, if its not obvious yet, the results are heartbreaking. I loved every bleeding second of this story and if anyone wanted a fic that PERFECTLY represented John and Sherlock's relationship, friends or otherwise, I would point them here. It is within these chapters, these twenty-six characters arranged in so many wonderful ways, that the truth of love is revealed. Both John and Sherlock were willing to give up their good fortune and happiness for the other's. John LITERALLY put himself back into depression, just to have Sherlock live a happy life. And then Sherlock goes and does the same. Truer love has never been expressed. And it made me cry like a babe. But I digress. I shall leave you here with this: your mind, imagination, and word-smithing is something to behold and treasure always. Never stop writing. I will definitely be looking at your other works. Raxi |
Random Flyer chapter 36 . 4/9/2014 Excellent story. I really enjoyed it, even if it made me stay up a little too late a couple nights in a row. You handled everything very well. I'm just moving into writing more complicated plots myself and I can appreciate how difficult this must have been to make everything fit and make sense. You did a great job with all the versions of the characters and all the twisting of the timeline. I love time travel stories and this was definitely one of the better ones I've read on this site to date. Thanks so much for posting this! :D |
Random Flyer chapter 35 . 4/9/2014 Isn't it lucky they have a time machine to fix things? |
Random Flyer chapter 34 . 4/9/2014 It's great if they know who did it, but what are they going to do about? What can they do about it? I wonder if it was Mycroft himself who did it... |
Random Flyer chapter 33 . 4/9/2014 I hope you haven't forgotten Mrs. Hudson. Just cause she wouldn't directly go out and look for help doesn't me they could do something for her. |
Random Flyer chapter 32 . 4/9/2014 Writing it down was my first reaction, too. I wonder if Sherlock could go back to the day he and John were supposed to have met and change it again so they do. |
Random Flyer chapter 31 . 4/8/2014 I really don't know if you're going to pull something and change things back at the last minute, but I have a feeling you'll just tweak the world you've created. |
Random Flyer chapter 30 . 4/8/2014 This is sad. But you have a lot to work with here, so I'm looking forward to seeing where you take it. (Of course, considering how you finished your story "To the End" it's not like you're afraid to have sad and tragic endings...) |
Random Flyer chapter 29 . 4/8/2014 Where there is life there is hope. Plus there's still seven chapters left. YAY! I really like where you've taken it. It was unexpected, John actually changing the world. You did a good job showing the good sides and the bad sides, as well. :) |
Random Flyer chapter 28 . 4/8/2014 That sucks. That's awful. It can't end like that. I refuse to believe it. |
