Reviews for Two Galaxy's Saga : Let The Galaxy Burn! Edition
1pyfgcrl0 chapter 1 . 3/9
Actually i think darth malleus here is using legends instead of canon which explains why warhammer and star wars are matched. Canon star wars is well, very weak compared the EU version, which has turbolasers at 200 gigatons and many other super weapons. Correct me if im wrong im not exactly a star wars expert. And also, please update this...
SmugyBoy chapter 1 . 1/17
Here we can find the typical no-life fan of GRIMDARK in his natural habitat.

Not enuff dakka
Guest chapter 2 . 9/14/2018
Also, some Star Wars stuff matches up with 40k stuff, and is even better in some ways(The Sun Crusher,an indestructible starfighter that can destroy suns,or the Star Forge, which is memetic SupCom,minus the need for resources. The Galaxy Gun can shoot DS-level blasts throughout the Galaxy, the Dark Trooper MK III,a Armoured suit that can destroy tank columns, etc.)
Overall,though,40k is just better. Space Marines,Battleships the size of supercapitals, stuff like that.
CT2222 chapter 1 . 9/14/2018
Chaos Gods? Meet Abeloth. Abeloth also feeds off Chaos-related stuff(Suffering),but is completely immortal(Even if you kill all her incarnations, she will survive, while it is heavily implied that a sufficiently powerful force could kill them, such as a resurgent Emperor). Just her existing on a planet causes massive volcanic eruptions. She is capable of vaporizing entire cities with her mind. This is all when she is fairly weak. It is implied that she's wiped out multiple galactic-scale civs before.
In her weakest form, she may only be Greater Daemon/powerful psyker form, she can exponentially ramp up her power. Just being within a mile of a Hive should make her start creating volcanos like planet-level blisters.
Toxinator196 chapter 2 . 9/5/2017
I have thought on this debate very well and something we have to think about is the scale of the entire 40k universe vs the Star Wars universe concept on war. The 40k universe is a universe filled with like it says a place of constant war this has molded all the races in the 40k to basically fight wars with battlefields that spread across what is basically a modern day conutry with losses in the millions for one battle to be acceptable where in Star Wars there battles are very much like ours with one hundred to a couple thousand at most .
deathbyshadow chapter 1 . 9/5/2017
Brilliant! I waited a long time for a fic like this. But why haven't you updated it? Please don't tell me it's dead.
Quelthias chapter 2 . 5/19/2017
I get that the author wants to rant about the sheer power behind Warhammer vs. The weakneses in Star Wars however, please continue with the actual story!
This fic should continue (and hopefully with story this time).
Aj chapter 2 . 4/11/2017
This is fucking glorious. I love to watch the stats be used as they are, not toned down to make it fair or any of that bs.
Zureal chapter 2 . 4/8/2017
Oh how I love how you point to so many of the often misunderstood concept that the Imperium and 40k in general are backwards somehow. Hell, all one has to do is give the Imperium a fully functional STC and a few centuries with it and they could give the Necrons a run for there money or maby be close to there equal. Can you imagine a Space Marine decked out in full DAoT Human tech? Would only need to deploy a single squad to conquar worlds, if that many.
He Who See's chapter 1 . 3/1/2017
Question motherfucking motherfucker of a fic author: what fucking lore, anywhere in Warhammer 40 K, is there to even to suggest any hard numbers concerning the power output of individual Imperium starship classes, the amount of energy (either energy or kinetic) their starships' shield can take before failure, and what their rate of acceleration is to warrant this assumption you're making in the summary of this shit fic?
CALiGeR190 chapter 1 . 11/14/2016
This is indeed more accurate to 40K than Darth Malleus' story, but as an avid fan of both I believe you are over estimating the gap in power.

You are 100% correct in what you are saying about 40K weapons, about the scale of warships and 40K fighter being the size of warships themselves: what you seem to be getting slightly off is the numbers, at least by my judgment, there are books and lore that can support what you've written also.

Generally, IN fighter and Bomber groups are quite small; a product of their size. Also, in fleet-to-fleet comparisons there are far more carrier vessels when compared to the IN. Add onto that the fact that offensive boarding is very rare for the navy, despite their troops being generally much better equipped than Star Wars troops, and boarding isn't an advantage the IN can call upon.

Also, one more thing and this one is to do with primary weapon numbers and rate of fire. Rate of Fire for most Macro Cannons and lances is around 30-40 seconds, a Turbo laser being more like 3-5 seconds. Most 40K ships having relatively few weapons when directly compared with SW ships, although their is a massive disparity in damage-per-shot between the two. Also, Turbolasers are considered secondary weapons on 40K ships, whether they perform like SW turbolasers or even how many each ship is equipped with is debatable though.
Power outputs for weapons generally level out, regardless, but 40K relies on a small number of accurate and utterly devastating barrages while SW is all about area saturation and superior weight of fire as opposed to one-hit-kills.

Otherwise though, and I do reiterate, this is much closer to true 40K than the orginal story was, so good job!
Dark LNW chapter 1 . 6/8/2016
Awe-inspiring battle! Has to be one of my favorite 40k Battles of all time! You're right; the freedom 40k gives absolutely rocks! I enjoy exercising that freedom in the 40k fictions I write. (None have been published, though.) I say again, keep up the awesome work!
Dark LNW chapter 2 . 6/1/2016
Well that was a fun rant to read. Kind of.

I just have two questions:
What is the largest Eldar Craftworld?
Where did you find out that the Tyranids own twelve galaxies?

Also, I'm gonna have to agree with you; 40k vs. Star Wars, 40k wins. I also agree that the fluff is the best. Keep up the AWESOME work.
Private Ripper chapter 2 . 5/23/2016
Actually, c'tan can not only destroy planets, but solar systems and create blackholes.
