Ya know I'm not a fan of this pairing but wow did you do a good job! I thought the romance would be blatant but really it was subtle. Very good interpretation of the aftermath of the barns destruction. Kudos to you!

So yes, this has been pretty much Jossed, but that doesn't make it any less good! This story pretty much broke my heart. Jordan breaks my heart. Nathan and Jordan especially break my heart, for reasons that include the fact that they were both completely using each other throughout their entire relationship, and yet still managed to fall in love (yes, I choose to think that Nathan did actually love Jordan - maybe not as much as he loved Audrey, but he connected with her and understood her). You've captured both of them beautifully, broken after the events of 3x13, ragged edges showing but still completely in character. Beautiful! I think your last sentence is especially poignant. The metaphor of what is left of Haven reflecting what is left of their relationship. Imperfect, not what either of them wants, but what they're stuck with. Love it!

I really like this fic. You write really well and the characters were spot on! I specially loved how you wrote Nathan, there's something about him, something hollow, numb. I don't know if it was on purpose, but that's what I felt. I'm not sure if it's because of Audrey's loss or his affliction, or both, but he definitely sounds like there's something missing within him.
And Jordan is great too, that part Nathan "died" was amazing! Exact what she would have done. Jordan has that little something inside her, we don't know if she's good or bad and this is awesome about her. She's very much human. She did horrible things for "the greater good" and she actually thought she was doing the right thing. Even if we don't agree, we must admit, that girl has courage.
I don't exactly like that ending. Nathan's feelings for Audrey kind of looked cheap. I don't think he would have - I don't wanna say "forgive", but for the lack of another term... - forgiven her so easily. She shot him, lied to him and mostly and worst of all, wanted Audrey away. I think he would resent that a lot. So, yeah, liked the story, but the last few paragraphs were a little nonsense to me, at least.
I love how you write. I wish you had more haven stories, so I could read and fangirl about it lol We need more talented fic writers like you around!
