Also, I really liked how you made Merle "likeable". Although I didn't like his racist views or his perspective on not wanting to help people (the scene on the bridge in S3), Merle was a good man in enough ways to make me miss him when he was gone. Plus, anything that makes Daryl sad would make me sad. :)

This was great - I read all 14 chapters while enjoying the spring weather on my front porch this afternoon. :))
