You're really good at writing the characters with their proper personalities. It's a pretty rare thing with fanfic writers so good job :) I noticed the same thing when I was watching Gaiden. It made me wonder if Kakashi took his mask off regularly in front of his teammates or not but I think the situation you wrote here is probably the most accurate.

I was caught off guard watching it as well. I'm glad I found this fic. It fits so well with the cannon that I could believe this was actually Kakashi. Well done, though I want more. :)
