I'm curious ... Why not have the Healers find a way to selectively obliviate Molly and Ginny of all plans and schemes concerning Harry and Hermione? Or are the schemes simply too deeply woven into every fiber of the two women's lives? Just wondering.

I like the fact that Ron and Ginny were, in a sense, hoisted by their own petard. I do think Arthur, the Twins, Charlie, and Bill are usually stand-up guys. It's too bad Harry lost them, thanks to Ron, Ginny and Molly.

Well, it was a good story, and it sounds like the Potters established their family roots just fine in Australia. Thanks for sharing.

When I stumble across a story of yours in my favorites list which I haven't reviewed, I'm shocked. Anyway...

The entire potions idea is again one of your staples, but I am glad to see you take into a different direction than in your other stories. To have the lust potions negate the love potions is a nice twist.

Another really nice twist is to have the Grangers turn up at the airport when they did. Does it bend the laws of probability beyond all likelihood? Yes, but I think that those laws simply cease to work around Harry anyway!

Harry's final visit to the Burrow is a very well done scene. No surprise to find the other Weasleys to be stand-up people. It is a nice touch for Ginny to really be a victim, rather than a villain. One hopes that she ended up having a good life.

As for Ron, yes you bash him. But I'd argue you are not doing so gratuitously. You are simply taking the unattractive sides of him that already exist in canon and then extrapolate some. The end result of the story, Ron as a amoral, criminally insane person in a mundane psychiatric hospital is only just. Harry did forget to mention that Ron's plan would have resulted in the Grangers' deaths when he listed Ron's crimes-one of a couple of inconsistencies in the story.

Another inconsistency is your having Hermione draw her wand twice in the scene in the Hufflepuff dorm. A further inconsistency is the implication that H&H never kept up with Neville, Luna or Minerva. To not do so is not in their characters.

This story is at least the second story of yours I've read that has Dudley with Mandy Brocklehurst. I doubt you'd do so, but a story of Dudley's year on the run, his change of heart about magic and magicals, and particularly his romance with Mandy would be a great story, IMHO.

Finally, your ending is simple, sweet and touching. As with all of your stories, I feel richer for having read it.

I enjoyed that you were able to amp up the evilness of Ron while giving Ginny an out due to the possesion by Tommy boy.

Molly being ejected from the family cements in my mind that Arthur was an honorable man who regardless of the personal pain did what was right and not what was easy.

Fantastic short story moRon, Potion Princess, and Fan Girl #1 got what they deserved.

So, you "edited out some of the more explicit scenes," did you!? Wow, the one with Hermione dripping on the floor was eye opening. I'm a Harmony lover and not a Weasley-phile by any stretch so I think this little story brilliant. I do think you were a little uneven in imposing Potter vengence heaviest on Ron. It seems Molly was the original schemer and Harry was in at least the same danger of everything Hermione was except actual pregnancy.
