I love this! Ryan and Esposito are my favourite duo on TV at the moment and it's great to see them from an outsider's perspective. You've written them so well and the banter is hilarious :D I hope you've got more Ryan and Espostio fics because I'd love to read them. A follow up to this wouldn't go amiss either - I'm extremely curious about the significance (or insignificance, according to Espo) of those rings now :)

Oh My Gosh!~ You got Ryan's little catch-phrases in there. "Hey, so..." and "Get this," the only one you're missing is his "Turns out..." _ Amazingly done!

I put off reading this piece until I've watched enough Castle to put things into perspective (I'm into season 3 now :D). And you're spot on their characterisation, dialogue and anything else. I mean I could just see the scene in one of the episodes, while simultaneously remembering the look on Esposito's face whenever Ryan does something that is not 100% manly, or shows his more gullible side.

Great job! Loved reading something about Castle, I've watched from the beginning thanks to Nathan being part of the project and love all the cast. You did a great job with the characters. I love the banter back and forth!

I just love Ryan and Expo...Great story and yes they were totally in character . You should think about writing another one with them!

I wish Ryan and Esposito would have more screen time :-/ I can see them doing this often at crime scenes :)

Love this little story! It could be cool if you made another in which Travis meet Beckett and Castle (or Beckett alone first and the hangers after Castle's arrive to the crime scene)

UH. That was fabulous. I loved it. I was kinda wary because it was from the viewpoint of an OC, but you did it so perfectly. You characterizes Espo and Kevin perfectly. The banter was absolutely astounding. Loved it! :D

I love outsider view fics. They are so much fun and you've written a good one here. I like your character, he seems to fit right in with the regulars (which is hard to do). I love how scared Travis is, I can see Espo having that sort of reputation. It's even funnier considering what a softie he is on the inside. I like how you had Ryan seem like a badass. Ryan doesn't get enough love. It would be great if you could make a series of this, have Travis meet Lanie or have Castle try to convince him of one of his crazy theories, not to mention the foreshadowed encounter with Kate. I would love to read it!
