Reviews for Without Trust
DD chapter 1 . 5/5
This was written so beautifully. I think people sometimes forget that he has been ALONE for THREE HUNDRED YEARS! And the only one who ever acknowledged his presence, in a friendly way, was Sandy. So, yeah, I think you nailed it. Hope you make the two-shot.
Dino-Rogue chapter 1 . 1/1
Oh, I, too, am in poor, dear Jack's corner, all the way. And there is definitely damage, as you said, even though it is not shown much in the movie in the way it absolutely ought to be. And your exploration of that wound in the poor guy's soul and Jack's character along with the other Guardians' thoughts made this such a wonderful read! Awesome job!
Demi clayton chapter 1 . 11/24/2019
I think you should write more , when you can as it is really good so for, please and thank you.
Guest chapter 1 . 9/1/2019
Fantastic piece. Thanks for sharing!
MidnightWriter44678 chapter 1 . 2/27/2019
Thank you for making this realistic. I have read a lot of stories, and they are always the extremes of that Jack and everyone are buddies by the end of the movie and nothing it wrong, or that everyone is abusive and hate each other. This is written beautifully, I really enjoyed it, thank you.
CupcakeGoodness101 chapter 1 . 2/16/2019
Omgosh this is great! I'm totally with you on the whole trust doesn't come easy and 300 years is a long long time. The realization between the guardians was written beautifully. You're so talented.
Demi clayton chapter 1 . 10/23/2018
I think you should write more but where you write how the other gudians get Jack Frost trust back at all, when you can, please and thank you.
Guest chapter 1 . 10/3/2018
Hopefully less than 10 %.
35% hydrogen peroxide is really dangerous.
Nonyaarb chapter 1 . 9/1/2018
Nice...
PeterPanfan13 chapter 1 . 4/11/2018
I loved this story! I totally agree with you about Jack and the Guardians(excluding Sandy), they lost their chance with Jack and its going to take a lot of hard work to get that trust back(if they ever try).
Coffee-Flavored Fate chapter 1 . 8/22/2017
I feel pretty much the same way about the older guardians' behaviour. Tooth, North and Aster were so quick to assume the absolute worst on no real evidence and without even trying to hear or understand what happened. From the very start even they were, of not dismissive (Bunny) then assuming they knew what he wanted and what was best without actually asking or bothering to listen to what he was saying (North especially, but Tooth was so fixated on his teeth and failed to really see him as a person, it seemed like). Sandy was the only one who seemed to be both welcoming and eager to see Jack, and the only one who seemed to notice or care how Jack was feeling about things, and the most supportive and accepting of who Jack was as a person and friend throughout the movie.
Which was great to watch, but the other three were super disappointing in their behaviour in that regard. Especially since they presumably had fought Pitch before and knew about him, and so should understand what he was capable of in terms of deception and such.
Well, I have a lot to say about it (too much) but I really appreciated it being addressed in this fic. The other guardians don't deserve Jack's trust, whereas Sandy has earned at least the start of it.
yummypie193 chapter 1 . 8/9/2017
I totally agree with you. I feel they would've been able to do it eventually, but they definitely did not start off the right way. There's a lot of mending to be done. Awesome character development in your fic, I loved it! Thanks for writing :D
HoldTightAndPretendItIsAPlan chapter 1 . 2/24/2017
I'm in the same corner as you. Er, Jack's "they ignored me for three hundred years and then automatically assumed I'd betrayed them" corner that is.
BooksAreMedicine chapter 1 . 5/15/2016
Nicely done, I am on Jack's side too
Angelicat2 chapter 1 . 12/1/2015
