   SunhatLlama16 chapter 11 . 5/20 This story was great, but I some what hoped that it would deviate from the original TOS episode. Sometimes I have a hard time imagining the reboot characters after I already watched the actual episode. The part after Jim went unconscious was really nice though! Gotta love some Jim Whump! Overall, it was a nice read. Good job. |

| driongan chapter 11 . 6/18/2014 Hey there! Just had to respond to your wonderful story. I was a teenager when the original series aired, and "Journey to Babel" was and remains my favorite episode. It was so weird reading the re-boot version, in that the different faces kept switching with each other in my head! But beautifully done, substituting Uhura for Amanda. The only issue (which is minor!) I found was that Nurse Chapel in the reboot is not on the Enterprise, but stationed on some out-flung system. But minor, nevertheless! Now as to requests: My *second* favorite episode was "The Empath", and I would love to see a story that involves the reboot characters. While I will never stop loving the originals, JJ has done a fantastic job with the 'new' bunch, so I'm hungry for stories involving them! Great job - I reveled in it! |
