| Blandge chapter 1 . 4/24 Why are you doing all of this character development in the first chapter. I get it the characters need to grow and change over time, but you can't just drop like 8 years of exposition into the story and expect me to feel catharsis when Ash makes a personal realization about needing to be with his friends. I just don't care about your character enough in the first chapter to be moved by a moment like this. I have the same issue with the part where you explain how Ash had to learn not to be over-confident. It doesn't make me proud of Ash for learning from his mistakes, because you just told me about them, and didn't show me any of it. |

Repeatedly beating up a character and calling it a story is just a sad way of covering up a total lack of writing ability. Ash suffers from a serious case of character whiplash, can't even be consistent with his inconsistency, much less anything else. |

This entire story has been a giant rollercoaster, one that brought me to highs and sent me to rock bottom emotionally, and with a level of skill I haven't seen in any story I've ever read in my life. You just skyrocketed yourself to the top of my favorites list, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to read this story again one day. |
