Loved this chapter and the previous one! Now everything is dependent on Bridget's birthday when she comes of age and when she can dissolve her bond with Skel. Maybe Shran will step in to help her get through what is going to look like a very tough time for her without Oratt?
It was also great seeing things from Oratt's point of view. Hang on in there, Oratt! In the meantime, back home in his garden, that hagash tree must be slowly approaching the time when it will start to give fruit.

Great chapter. It was interesting seeing things through Oratts mind when the healer melded with him. Hopefully Strom will keep an eye on Bridget when other males are around. Or maybe skel could step up to the plate and visit Bridget at work and make the other males believe she is happily bonded.
