Okay so you know what I think about you and your writing...

Flawless, amazing, perfection...

And this one-shot definitely didn't disappoint.

First of all, I love how you kinda delved into how Emma started viewing Hook as Killian and how the man and the legend are almost two separate entities in her mind. I can so see this being her thought process. How he slowly evolves from Hook to Killian. I'm giving myself feels thinking about it!

As for the entire story itself, I mean I could see something like this actually happening next season it was so wonderfully in character and just spot on. I love that Hook gave Emma his sword (great minds eh?) the flashback was riveting and my heart was pounding and I just could so perfectly picture everything. When Emma saw Henry and she completely froze and then had that knee-jerk reaction *that* is something I just can so EASILY and PERFECTLY envision happening on the show. And Hook fending off her attackers as her attention is elsewhere- - it gave me chills and had me hoping and wishing for something similar to happen on the show.

And holy shit I was dying when she stumbled upon MM and Hook because first of all he pushed MM out of the way and lkafjlkdjsklfsjlkdsjklds ALL THE FEELS! And Emma's inner turmoil as she tries to figure out what that means to her- - her thoughts and emotions on how she's still reluctantly struggling with how she feels about what he's doing for them, how he cares about their well-being, etc... And then that last bit when he was getting the arrow pulled out of him and he was holding her hand and she was whispering things to him to comfort and soothe him - - and stroking his hair and just GOD ALLIE KILL ME WHY DON'T YOU!

And oh my God that scene with them in his cabin (you just had to mention how Hook had previously mentioned OTHER things they could do on the desk *snickers*).

I love how she went from being worried, to angry, to surprised, to amused - - you wrote her so perfectly. Again something I could perfectly see happening on the show- - Emma being upset and near furious at Hook for his lack of concern and regard for his own life. And the way you wrote her just reluctantly and gently acknowledging that it *bothered* her and he realized this and called her out on it - -in the most adorably of ways- -was just flawless.

I can't get over how in character and this was - -seriously I think we just got a sneak peek of season 3.

The problem with you writing such amazing one-shots is I never want them to stay a one-shot.

I really like this. Because think that's pretty much what will happen. She will realize that her feelings for him a way deeper than she might want them to be when she fears for his life. I can actually see something like this happening on the show.

Aww, Cupid's arrow! ADORABLE! And their banter was spot-on! You really did a great job of keeping them in character.

*sigh*. I repeat this over and over again in every story Hook gets injured - I LIKE when it happens. Hook starts to act like a decent human being and Emma gets all worried and caring. It's quite the good mix in my opinion.
Even it makes me a little bit of a bad person the enjoy the pain of other. Not that I care all that much, considering they are, after all, fictional character *laugh*.
