I honestly don't see why you included that rape attempt so far, as it doesn't seem to have consequences. It seems that it's only played for the shock value and for a cheap attempt to have the Malfoys swoop in to house and mold her.
That could have been done better with a formal guardian ship as it would give also more options for conflict in the future IMHO.

There's also the fact that Penny is selling/trafficking drugs. That doesn't seem like someone who wants to be a doctor would do. Even for money that she doesn't even seem to need that much, as her Hogwarts education is covered by the stipend. So what is the money for?

The third point I kinda find strange is that Sirius sent her such a personal message. They only met once very briefly and you haven't shown them interacting since then (train letter excepted).
Even Harry in Canon didn't get such a personal letter iirc and he is the godson of Sirius.

I do hope that some of the points will be addressed in future chapters, but I wanted to give feedback at this point of time, no matter that the story has already progressed further and it would be very unlikely that my comment would change anything.

Sort of really hoping for Harry x Penny D': they are adorable together!

Just did a full re-read and this is still a favorite of mine. I’m so interested to see Penny’s reaction to Umbridge and I am of course still rooting for a Penny/Harry end game. Though it would be interesting to see what a Penny relationship looks like that’s not Harry or secretive Ginny. That being said, I love every aspect of your fan fic including the various layers of Penny’s personality and you have made her so powerful yet still so fearful. The teen romance is just the cherry on top. Thanks for the fic!

Great chapter as always. Really love this story so far. It’s a brilliant concept done right.

My only main issue is how you’ve portrayed Dumbledore. He just comes off as too much of an asshole in this story.

Other than that, I enjoy this and Wanna see more. I’m curious to see how Penny will deal with Umbridge. :)

Finally! I think this was the longest wait yet! Another great chapter but I do hope we get back to Hogwarts soon and eventually Bellatrix in the Department of Mysteries. Hopefully with everything that's going on you're able to get chapters out more frequently or at least set up some kind of schedule so even if we have to wait, we know at least vaguely when to expect a chapter so we aren't disappointed if it doesn't come when we want it to.

So if I remember correctly, dumbledore tries to kill her and she goes back the next chapter and doesn't seen too angry or scared about it. Dumbledore admits to trying to kill her in front of sirius and Tonks and they end up cracking jokes? You might as well not even have written it because no one, not even you acts like it happened.
No hate tho, still love the story.

Good chapter, always entertaining seeing Persephone being sassy. Not a fan of this Dumbledore though, he comes of as a big asshole in this story. Didn't like how he attacked Persephone in the last few chapters. I'm a little surprised it was tolerated more by the adults but there all Dumbles sheeple so not all that surprising. I want him to just keel over already. Will Harry end up being with Persephone? I'd like that and for him to dump that useless, loyal-less lump of a so-called friend Ron Weasley. Looking forward to reading more of this story, update soon!
