This cause me a feeling of deep sadness... With all that happy-ending fanfictons it's easy to forget how tragic this show really ended.

I really hate the sad stories acknowledging Arthur's death. I tend to skip them. I'm glad I read this one... even if it depresses me for the rest of the day. Beautiful portrayal of Gwen and ... poor Merlin... even though Gwen suffers, to me no one suffers as Merlin. And this shows in your work. Thank you.

that was completely heart wrenchingly heart breaking! I loved the finale and I love this story and I love merlin as a character but I am disappointed in him for not going back to Camelot... this fic is the reason why, gwen obviously needs him and so does gaius, he has all the time in the world to wander and mourn, you know what with him being immortal and all, couldn't he have spared a while to be with his friends that needed him and that he so clearly needed? sorry rant over, the fact that this story got me to rant proves that its awesome- I don't give rant out to just anybody:P haha cant wait to read more of your stuff:)

Just brilliant. There aren't enough of these stories on . Yours is so heartbreaking and beautifully written. Merlin seemed like a shadow of his former self. So sad to imagine what he did after Arthur died :(
