I really liked the ending. :) For some reason, it just gave me the warm fuzzies.

I loved the story so much!

This was absolutely brilliant! Thank you.

This is bloody brilliant. While the characters are a bit OOC (as I cannot quite imagine John turning to self-harm as a method of release, given his army mentality and healer tendencies; nor can I see Sherlock opening up quite so easily[though this IS post-return, so I don't know])), it was still quite an enjoyable read. There was one small thing that confused me in Chapter 2: wouldn't Sherlock dress John's wounds after the bath? I have seem this in other stories as well, and it has always been a point of bemusement for me.
Overall, though, this story is wonderful. I was not sure how I would feel about the marriage scene, as I cannot really see the two of them officially thing the knot, but the way you wrote it made me like it. A lot. )
And the last chapter. :O Beautiful. The daughter (for whom I feel terrible. Poor authoress, losing them like that), the gang, the explosives. I had gotten to the countdown and I saw that the scroll bar was almost to the bottom of my screen and I was sad that it would end like that! But then I thought about it and I decided that, no, this really is a perfect ending.
So thank you for this emotionally charged, tear-jerking, stunning piece of literature.

My only thought as far as a suggestion is maybe have Sherlock apply the plasters after John has had his soak ? Otherwise they might come loose in the water? Otherwise, brilliant. :)

Good story so far, looking forward to more. Though I still can't see John employing self harm, I can see the eating disorder and possible alcohol abuse, don't forget his sister is a drinker and it can run in the family. Other than that I like the story.

Please continue, I really want to know what happens next. I'm totally waiting for the next update. :)
