Time Travel is so difficult to organize! If you feel insecure with it, you should read a couple theories and stick with one. For some reason I think Simon would be the only one nerd enough to know them!

You story is brilliant, past Magnus is so less stressed than future Magnus. (Imagine being head of a swimming pool of children and constantly having to dive in to save them, to yell at them for being stupid and catering to their every whim when they want a water toy. After a while, you'd get sick of children. Past Magnus isn't like that. He's not in it for the money, he likes the thrill. He wants to be everywhere at once because the world is exciting and I'm pretty sure he stuck with Camille because he wanted to be her side kick in a life of crime as well as being surrounded by beautiful people).

Alec has such great energy to him too. He gets angry, he's self harming and prone to exploring in order to get away. I'd love to see how he perceives London and if he still cares. It would be interesting to see him be the one to fall head over heals this time. Have Alec being the help provider. When Magnus first started seeing Alec, he always thought that as a Nephilim, Alec wouldn't want Downworlder presence unless he had something to offer. It's true that the Nephilim never leave their police HQ to speak to anybody unless there's something they want. That's especially true in the 1800's. All this to say, it would be a shock if Alec cared so much about a Downworlder that he offers himself out for menial tasks like Magnus had once to him. It's one of the symptoms of infatuation.

They've been my OTP since the end of book one! It's probably not healthy to put this much thought into it.
