I would love to see a sequel to this for when he comes home, maybe the loss of lu ten, iroh growing older and visiting with her. I really loved this. beautifully done

Thats simply beautiful Almost everything I wanted from romance. its a pity the story is over because Id like to see how Zukos journey would be influenced and what would happen after ge returned. it would be interesting fo see how Zukos determination would be fouled by love rather then anger. Its like 1 book finished but still left me wanting for more

"ethereal" spirit, not "urethral". hahahahahaha please tell me you're not saying Katara looked like the spirit of someone's Urethral tube hahahahhaha

Wonderful, amazing, can't sing your praises enough. While I do wish they could've had their happy ending even if it was a big time jump epilogue, it was still a wonderful story both in the realm of Zutara and outside of it. I now wish I had a friend in Zutara Elam so I could make them read it and we could bask in the amazing story you weaved.

I love this story, but its ripping my fucking heart out and eating it in front of me.

Just going to point out that in the world you've built here, there's no chance at all that Zuko would have a scar. Now maybe he'd go into a war room (though not likely, since he isn't the heir) and maybe he'd "insult" the firelord (who is Azulon and wouldn't be interested in personally beating his ass) and maybe his father would challenge him to an Agni Kai.

But Ozai isn't the Fire Lord. At best he's second in line (Or third, if Lu Ten is still alive). He doesn't have the power to just mutilate anyone he likes. And even if he did, Iroh wouldn't stand for it. Remember that Azulon loves Iroh. Loves him far more than he ever loved Ozai, and if Iroh asked, he'd give Ozai the spanking of a lifetime for daring to hurt Iroh's beloved nephew.

And then even if Azulon didn't do anything about it, Iroh would immediately have summoned one of their captive waterbenders to heal the wound before it scarred.

Just pointing out how I find it rather nonsensical. It's a scar. Not an integral and unalterable part of his character that needs to wiggle into every fanfic.
