So sweet! Loki and Thor are so cute!

This was a very sweet and harrowing one-shot. I'm a sucker for slice of life and sibling stories and this one catered to my weakness. As different as they are, I believe that the two deeply love each other and would risk their lives for the other. And I loved Thor's promise for there to be two kings, sharing the throne with his brother in the future; it really solidifies his care and devotion to Loki and disregards all beliefs that Thor feels otherwise.

How have i not read this amaziness before! O.O
It is a sad way of life - how everything is about Thor. When in the beginning Thor spoke of his trainings and then his famous 'When i am king' - he really doesn't think about someone else's feelings, oaf.
Then he somewhat redeemed himself in my eyes hoping to do better by Loki.
And oh god - so much Loki!whump! Poor baby ;''(

By themselves they could reach the top, but it would be full of sufferings - be it pain, wounds, loneliness and utter misery. But together... It is one of my explanation but i hope you meant it too)

Um, you do know that the song you misquoted is about death, right? A pair of prisoners, one to be executed (the high road) and the other to be released (the low road). Here I was bracing for a death fic where they meet up again in the afterlife. Much fluffier than expected.

The word "magnificent" wouldn't quite cover this story. Indeed, this is a metaphor, disguised, oh-so-cleverly, as an adventure story. But it's really a story about two brothers, isn't it? You couldn't replace it with two other brothers, though, since it's unique to Thor and Loki. Masterfully descriptive and, at every point, subtly pulling you into the meaning behind each word without forcing you where it wants to go. I can't applaud your skill in writing enough; I was enthralled throughout. It might not cover it, but I'll say it anyway: magnificent.

I wanna draw this so bad...oh my goddddd this fic is just brilliant! And omg that rune...that's so sad and twisted and LOKI. I can totally see him doing that and then just like lying in bed and tracing it and smiling and nobody else will understand and OMGGGGG.

Thor always walking in the sun, Loki in the dark where the creatures of danger are. Thor despite being in the sun, cannot help but worry about his brother, who is slowly growing more and more demented as he wanders alone in the dark. But, Thor goes back for his brother and carries him to the top and then carries him home to help Loki heal, because Loki is scarred...

Wow. That's intense. And I love that you did it in one go. Breaking it up into chapters would have weakened the effect.

Of Monsters and Men. I love them so much. I also love this oneshot. It is beautiful. The song lyrics dotted in it were fun to find and it is really well written. I have been wanting to write a fic about Loki and Thor based off OMAM lyrics for quite a while and it was really nice to find your fic.

Right in the feels!

I loved the way you made the brothers go their separate ways - light and dark, up and down, good and bad. Yikes. I felt so bad for Loki when the guy just couldn't seem to stop getting hurt. And yet somehow, despite the fact that I see him as a warrior (he was a badass with the frost giants, wouldn't you say?), I can easily see him getting hurt that many times before honing his skills. But being able to carry on with those injuries, and still remain strong through it all really seemed in character! In short, I loved it. Brilliantly written and very tender. Thank you so much for sharing.
