   meganmathews1 chapter 1 . 4/8 I read "To Love, and all it Entails" twice in one week. I loved it so much I was afraid to read For the Only Hope. I decided to brave and take the plunge. I just finished reading chapter 20 where you said it was driving you crazy that "To Love..." Only had 99 comments so I switched gears to comment! There aren't enough words for me to describe how much I LOVE "To Love, and all it Entails". It was beautiful. I couldn't look away. I'm just sad Severus Snape is in love with Hermione and not me. |
| Last2leave chapter 3 . 1/3 Loved this imagination of the future, they were still them, totally believable and the fluff was just perfect. I had a couple of favourite parts that I can't resist quoting back to you as they plucked at my heart strings something chronic... "But sometimes, only sometimes, a dead man found a scarred girl in a library and let her bring him back to life." - that line packs such a punch it floored me! "He remembered Lily around Halloween, remembered her autumn hair and spring eyes and winter heart. The woman who was dead and gone was so different from the woman who was so alive and present- Hermione was summer. She was in the summer of her life, she was a summer girl with eyes like sunlight through deep whiskey and hair that coiled and curled with pure enjoyment of being. Hermione smiled like summer and breathed like summer and was everything to him that summer was- sunlight and wildflowers and peace." - this, there are not enough words describe how BEAUTIFULLY descriptive this prose is - it drips with meaning and the feels are off the chart! You are truly gifted and once again I'm forever indebted to your cousin that we too get to share her gift! - Thank you! |
| ilsa27 chapter 3 . 10/23/2019 This story made my heart ache .. in an entirely good way. Snape and Hermione are so in character here and it was a wonderful look at how they can heal together after the war. There's such a poetic dreamy tone hanging over the whole story and it was wonderful how you showed so clearly the changing of the seasons and the passing of time and Snape and Hermione slowly but surely coming together. Also loved how Harry and Ron act like the mature adults (which they are) to the revelation that Snape is with Hermione. Too many authors make them throw hexes which I usually find completely OOC. |
