Glad to see you finally updated! The intro you wrote had me writhing in laughter.

As for this fic, it really could have been any number of things; a poorly executed parody of the Ash Betrayed stories, or one that tried to have some meta humor about them, or one that tried to adopt others as a plot point. It's really hard to tell unless if it's obvious. Either way, I'm looking forward to where this review is going. Arceus and Mew totally aren't placing bets on it right now, nope.

Also, so you know, boonies is American slang for backwater or countryside - though you wouldn't call someone a boonie, but you would say someone is from the boonies.

(I don't think Ash really ever got over saying Science is Amazing. Just that Clemont's inventions stopped featuring such a prominent role with the advent of the Kalos League.)

Out of curiosity, what do you hate about Eevee fanfics? I haven't read any so I'm clueless on them.

Ha! I love this. It's great to take a stroll down memory lane and just laugh at some of the mistakes I made. You did a great job at pointing them out. Can't wait to see what else you can come up with!

Well, I did notice all that stuff, but considering the shit that goes on in Hyper, I guess I didn't really take it into account (I guess I just figured everyone was as insane as me).

As for the list itself, personally I would have placed Zinnia's theme a little higher than 9 and put Giratina's theme in there somewhere, but otherwise I have to agree completely with your list.

(So, I'm reviewing in the first chapter even though I've been reading this for a while. Why, because this is still one of my favorite chapters even after all this time!)

So, this story has introduced me to one of my new favorite types of fanfiction stories that I never knew existed; the review story. It's amazing as you can simply pick it up, turn to a random chapter, and read a great review to a great/lousy fanfic, or more rarely, a Top 10 list. And to be fair, this is probably my favorite story out of all of them that I've read so far, even above some of the others that were mentioned by you such as Arceus the Critic and Meloetta the Chick.

The reason this is is because Genesect has the most bombastic personality I've seen, and being a reviewer to other people's fanfics, this makes it all the more enjoyable. When reviewing good stories, Genesect mainly stays calm and approves of a lot of what the stories do right. On the flipside, he will literally blow everything up, such as in this one, when he finds a bad fanfic.

Overall, I love what you're doing here, DragonNiro, and as you just updated earlier today, I have high hopes that this will be even more amazing than it's already proven to be!

You know, I did recently play through all of Pokémon Black from beginning to end, and it hit me. What was Meloetta/I talking about in the Best Battle Themes list? I remembered how much I liked the Unova Elite Foue theme and now I feel dumb for not putting it on the list. But I do have to disagree about Lance/Red's theme. I personally liked the remake better than the original, and even that, I still perfer Cynthia's Battle Theme over all others (except League Title Defense/Your Theme. I do agree with you on that)

Aside from that, I agree with everything else here on the list. There were a lack of encounter themes, but aside from that, great list. And I look forward to seeing more

No offense to the other critics, but Arceus' humor is kinda dry, and Keldeo kinda shoves his religion down your throat (along with being a bit rude to gay people in some of his reviews).
As for Kyrum (excuse my spelling) he's nice, I just don't like creepypastas that much.
Although I do agree that 'May's Revenge' was just ridiculous.
You have great humor, you're not shoving religion down my throat, and the creepypasta you reviewed was one of the better ones.
Better meaning "less gory stuff."
You reviewed a different one too, the prequel, and that was just as ridiculous, and if Genesect had gone on a rampage (did he?) I wouldn't blame him the least. I mean, really?
I really wanted to find the one about Ash and the others getting shrunk and then getting tortured, though...
Anyway, if you need ideas for reviews, here are some:
1. All In A Day's Insanity
An insane fix with 50 chapters. Long, I know, but if you ignore the fact that it's in script format (it was finished a while ago), then it's actually really interesting.
It's one of my personal favorites.
2. An 'Ash betrayed' fiction
I'd like to see Genesect's reaction to that.
I like them, but only the well-written ones (please don't make him review a bad one) and if he saw a good one (such as 'The Fire Withen', which, despite having a slightly annoying theme song, is amazing) he would probably make a lot of sarcastic comments, which is part of what I love about this.
3. One of Farla's oneshots
He'd probably be relieved that it's not one of those 'Genesect gets a DS and crazy, nonsensical things happen' fics, but don't have him read them too often. He might get depressed, seeing as most of them are Tragedy fics.
4. Thus Ancient Hearts Alike
It's written by the same author as 'All In A Day's Insanity', but it's a serious fic. Read it and see.
