Shiranai Atsune chapter 128 . 9/17 Oooohhh! This is such a wonderful story! I so heart this so much! I wish I could give a million kudos to this! You have written so much over the years! And the latest chapter has been posted just a couple of months ago. So happy to read this while it's still ongoing! |
Shiranai Atsune chapter 102 . 9/17 Aw yes! A superhero special! And with the Arrowverse Trinity themselves! You managed to sneak in Oliver as well! Heart this so much! Marley and Sebastian are so cute! I wish there was more of this! I heart the superhero genre! |
rachelberry887 chapter 128 . 8/11 I have been reading this story for the longest, and I had plenty of thoughts on it. First of all, thank you for creating a world where the characters we knew and loved from Lima, Ohio moved across the country to New York City and found themselves even further. They not only went to NYADA or schools nearby to participate in a college Glee Club, but they also dealt with very adult issues (eg. Finn with alcoholism, Rachel with grief, Quinn with cancer, etc.). I also love how you make the couples iconic and aren't afraid to use your imagination when it comes to couples we have never seen before, yet you somehow make it work (eg. Puck and Marley, Quinn and Brody, etc.). In those relationships, you get a glimpse of what love truly is. Brody accepted Quinn for who she was and stood by her when she had cancer despite the fact he had a sister that passed away from leukemia. Marley stood by Puck and believed in him, which made him become the best version of himself. Even the canon couples like Finchel and Brittana, while they make bonehead decisions, they also make sound adult ones (eg. Santana giving Brittany her blessing to go to Los Angeles to film her own talk show. Rachel maturely giving Finn his space while he was in rehab, knowing that only he could make a difference in his own life). The characters are also written in a way where they further develop but never lose their core personality (Marley for example becomes an outspoken, independent woman who the reader can't help but root for all while keeping her sweet and kind personality. She doesn't let anything negative that happens to her change who she is. Another example is Puck, while he is still cocky and headstrong, he also has more heart and undying love for the woman he fell head over heels for). I was vastly impressed the continuity. The writers in Glee made you forget the characters were going through something by dropping it five seconds later. Meanwhile, you continuously bring up things that happened to the characters. (Finn doing a Victoria's Secret ad popped up a few times after it happened in S1, or Brittany's wariness about Dani from S1-3, and even Brody going as far as mentioning Quinn doesn't have to date people from Glee Club which goes all the way back to the original series). You do an excellent job with continuity, and you don't drop storylines for the sake of it. The best part is definitely the original characters you incorporated into the series. I want most of these characters in the actual show. Simone Barberrie is more cutthroat than Rachel ever could be, Celina's shy but very sweet despite her unluckiness in the love department. But the most fleshed out and best original character has to be Jessica Goodwin. She makes you root for her and all she wants is a loving family. She also explores her sexuality and has trouble deciding who she wants to be in the world, especially with her guardians pursuing different careers. Overall, this is an amazing work of fiction, and it's so amazing, you can't help but get swept up in. It is one of-if not the best-Glee fan fictions I've ever read, and it deserves all the praise that it gets. Thank you for making a story that symbolizes what Glee is while kicking it up a notch. |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/31 How many chapters does this story have before it’s finally finished? |
Lillie chapter 128 . 7/22 i wanna give puck a hug after reading this. and finn helping him was so sweet. hope marley doesn't stay mad. |
Guest chapter 128 . 7/22 I REALLY felt for Puck in this chapter. It's not easy losing a dad, even when you weren't close to him. I hope he comes back soon, and I hope Marley doesn't stay mad at Finn. Santana was absolutely great, and I loved her storyline with Quinn. Update soon. |
Alex B. Goode chapter 128 . 7/22 I hope Puck is okay. Great chapter! |
GleeLuver chapter 128 . 7/22 This was such a good chapter. Puck's kind of coming across as a hypocrite because he wants answers regarding his father yet he was so against Marley getting answers about Christopher. And I know he's not thinking right cause how do you leave your wife who has been through the exact same thing and your two children to find more answers? Finn was so great in being there for Puck I loved him in this chapter, but I was sad Marley blamed Finn since he didn't have any ill intensions when he told Puck to get some answers. I also loved his storyline with his daughter and how open Finn is to Sophia wanting to pick a new hobby. I cracked up when I realized Sophia was talking about actual art instead of singing like Rachel, and Rachel was worried about her wood floors. I'm glad you're keeping Santana in the story for a while longer and I can't wait to see her happy ending. I think Quinn could use a happy ending right now because she shouldn't be targeted for something her father did. But the scenes of Santana comforting Quinn were amazing and I love seeing that soft side of Santana. I can't wait for the next chapter. |
gleek chapter 128 . 7/22 glad that Santana is staying around for a bit. very sad puck left to find answers without even discussing it with Marley. I get he wants to know about his dad before he died but he went about it the wrong way. I don't even fully blame Finn here because I knew Finn didn't mean for puck to just up and leave. can't wait for the next update. |
Guest chapter 128 . 7/22 After reading this all I remember is back in Season 4 and 5 when Marley wanted more answers about Christopher and Puck was so against it. Now it looks like the tables have turned and he wants to know more about what was going on in the last couple months of his father's life. I'm sad he didn't confide in Marley more since she's been there and felt he had to just up and leave. Although she's mad at Finn, I know Finn had no malice when it came to talking to Puck. As far as Santana and Quinn go, that storyline was so great. So glad to see Rachel and Santana talking again, and I just loved the scene where Santana protects Quinn in the middle of the night on the couch. That was extremely sweet of her. And I love that Santana is going to stick around for a little while, even if it's only for four more episodes. Update soon! |
