Loved it
Saissa chapter 5 . 9/3/2016
Apart from Hermione never actually answering the question of WHY she was treating Harry in such a shoddy manner (and why she was so angry that Harry was using the HBP's book to help him) in chapter 1, this was actually an interesting story. I certainly LOVED the action that took place at Gringotts when the OOTP attempted to kidnap Granger and dearly paid for it!
G Fawkes chapter 1 . 8/11/2016
Love it. Love the plot. Love Broomstick. Reading , like, ten or more fics over, again.

But... I just do NOT get... the wanting babies thing, OR the wanting to be married at 16 thing. If EPTs and or shotguns are involved, then OK. Otherwise, why?!
missgsmith51 chapter 5 . 5/8/2016
Great story! I love the punishments meted out to the two Big Boys. Perfect!

I noticed Old-Crow's comment about Ron Weasley being rather a poor friend. I agree completely. Although both would protest vehemently, given their mutual hatred, I see similarities between Ron and his nemesis Draco even in canon. Consider ...

1. Both shoot off their mouths frequently before making sure their brains are engaged.
2. Both are Pureblood bigots. Some will disagree with that assessment, but consider the way Ron looks down on Muggles. He may not actively hate and verbally persecute them like Malfoy does, but he considers them inferior. Hermione's parents are treated as novelties rather than intelligent human beings, and the Muggle (or perhaps Squib) Weasley relative is pretty much considered not worth knowing.
3. Both Draco and Ron are obsessed with and blindly jealous of Harry and accuse him of seeking attention when nothing could be farther from the truth. Ron tries to keep it under wraps, but his hurtful and destructive envy rears its ugly head quite frequently and at very inopportune times.
4. Both seem to believe that the world owes them a living. Ron may not be rich, but he is as spoiled in his way as Malfoy. He thinks, for example, that Hermione should do his work for him, or at least let him copy hers.

I'm sure there are other parallels, but those are just the obvious (to me) ones.

I love your involvement of the Queen in the story. I think it's fun to bring in the PM, as well. Some of my favorite stories feature one or both of them providing assistance from the Muggle military in taking down Voldemort's terrorists - and even putting a stop to Dumbledore's nonsense, in a couple of instances.

Thanks for a fun story.
missgsmith51 chapter 4 . 5/8/2016
"[Dumbledore] was still convinced the rumours about Potter's power was false, and put the lack of death eater activity down to his own painstaking efforts to curtail their evil ways and to turn them back to the light side once again. The fact that the majority of the Wizengamot, of which he was the leader, had not shown up for any meetings in the past few days seemed to have escaped his attention." What an egotistical arse! I guess he still believes his own outdated press. Oh, well ...
