Love this story. Really looking forward to an update. I always wondered about Garland and what he thought of Nathan and Audrey becoming partners. Did he suspect they would be more than that when he was alive? Did he ever consider to help Audrey free herself from the cycle as her son would eventually do?

This is amazing. You have no idea how much I thought about this moment. What the chief was thinking and why he behaved that way. I loved this!
Another moment was in 1.11 when he was interacting with Nathan regarding Audrey. He even knew her password! I think a lot of that time he kept hoping that Nathan doesn't fall for her, because it was obvious that he was interested and Garland knew that couldn't end up well.

Fantastic! And fortuate timing, because I've been working on a Garland POV chapter to my Haven fic all week. It's great to get someone else's interpretation of him since there are so few Garland fics. You did a really good job getting into his head and this was a great situation to explore.
