Wow, this is actually something I have considered for a while now. I mean, how did Beast Boy learn to read? Anyways, I liked how you described BB's emotions.

So far as the story goes, this was really interesting. The ending felt rushed, but considering how short it was I'm not gonna judge too harshly on that. More importantly though, I feel like this idea has a lot of potential for expansion, since the idea that Beast Boy wouldn't be able to read English (or potentially at all for that matter) has merit for just the reasons mentioned in the story itself.
