Another great chapter!

I really liked how you built the confrontation between Frigga and Loki with such care, to such a crescendo-and how the deer-and-goat story could prompt such different reactions in the two of them.

I don't think Frigga showed any lack of strength here-she was fighting hard against an immensely painful foe: Loki's own rage and blindness and bitterness and pain. I love the way that you are writing her!

The flashbacks so far have been very effective-more would be great! I'm intrigued by them and by what more you have to show us.

"Allowing her comfort to settle on his shoulders like a mantle." I said "ooo" out loud to that, I just love that simile so much for some reason. Keep the chapters long, there's absolutely no problem with that! Loki flashbacks would be cool; I haven't been bothered by Loki or Frigga's attitudes at all. Excellent job, I eagerly await the next chapter!

This is beautiful. You capture all of the emotions so perfectly, and the writing itself is just as amazing.

OH, this is lovely, and deep, and poignant. Your characterizations are subtle and real, and your grip on Frigga, especially, is wonderful: she is strong and regal in the face of the burdens she's carrying, and her love for Loki shines through every word in that scene. Beautiful!

I can feel the tension and uneasiness building as you reveal the bits of the backstory in the flashbacks. And I don't mind the italics! It's really the only way to do flashbacks, as far as I can tell!

Loki has every right to be angry/hateful, no one's ever given him a second thought and now that people've seen what he's capable of suddenly they're trying to get through to him, to talk to him, understand him. Too freaking late for that. Frigga is as much to blame as Odin, yes she may love him but if you can't even see that your child is suffering in a long period of time then you've failed as a parent. Also the way they're treating Loki makes me angry too, like he has no reason to be angry, like he's suddenly went mad be because of Thanos. I want nothing more than to see them o

Sorrow! You're writing for another fandom now? This was lovely written. I've never read a Thor fic before but you've made me curious. After I watch it again so I remember who's who!
