The AN at the beginning threatened lots of smut. Pleasant to find the story also developed a lovely view of their emotional intimacy, in particular from Carol's POV. Her conversation with Maggie was beautiful and sounded true to both characters, and gave a nuanced and plausible explanation for the close understanding between Daryl and Carol. Lovely story, thank you.

That was one of the most lovely stories I've ever read in this universe. I had to read it twice in one sitting. Definitely one of my most favorites to date.
