Dumbledore was on the run from the ministry at the time of Harry's abduction as the ministry and the general public were certain that Voldemort was dead. So how is he suddenly back in his office? 2. The headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix is under The Fidelius Charm. Dumbledore is the secret keeper, not Harry. As such, only Dumbledore can reveal the location of the headquarters. Voldemort definitely would know this because it would be something Snape would be expected to know and Dumbledore would have no issues with letting Voldemort know this bit of information because, well, what can Voldemort do with this information? So there really is no point in asking Harry about the location of Headquarters as there really is no way he can reveal the secret. And there is also no way any subterfuge will work because no matter what Harry says, Voldemort will know it is the wrong answer as Harry cannot reveal the real location |
