Wow! I've been sick the last 10 days, but I have hardly cared since I have been engrossed in your amazing trilogy. It's clear you are intimately acquainted with these 6 characters, make that 7 with T'leac. Your work belongs in the fan fiction hall of fame. I feel like I am observing, rather than reading. Your sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary are superb and therefore reading your work is effortless and pleasurable. If you read much fan fiction yourself, you know how rare this is. Kudos. Dare I hope that you will continue with Midnight and Dawn? I'm curious about Joshua and, of course, what you would do with Cam and Vala. I used to ship Daniel and Vala, but your Jillian is a way better match for Daniel. Cam is much more suited to her wonderfully wild persona. Daniel really does want to "turn Vala into a lapdog". It's been an incredible ride thus far! Thanks for writing!

Love this storyline, MKR! I'm still really glad you saved the horses, even though you could have written the ending any way you liked given that this is your story. ;) Are you going to continue more of Cam and Vala? And does Josh get a permanent spot on sg1? Thanks for sharing your stories here!

Nice chapter to end a very good and enjoyable story on. Glad the horses are settled an interesting nod at Jack and Sam getting married. Like the way Cam is still on edge around Jack. And if Joshua becomes a member of SG1 he sound the right person to help in their adventures and fun to be around. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent story overall. I always like the introduction of a new character via "trial by fire" and seeing as the Original SG-1 has all moved on it would be nice to see Mitchell get a second chance to put a team together, and build it this time instead of gluing the pieces back together so yeah definitely bring Josh on board.
Just a thought, maybe a female Jaffa for the possible 4th team mate, or at least a female human not from Earth (i.e. like how Jonas was).

I'm reading this and scratching my head because I don't remember it! Maybe this is stuff you wrote while I was in the thick of moving to Japan, and I just missed it? I love Vala wanting to nurse Cam as a vision of servitude, and Cam's reaction to that, and Cam quoting the book of Daniel (PERFECT).

Great set of chapters, loved the breathless action and the relief when they all managed to get in safely. So now its just back to the Stargate and home ... um wonder what fun they are going to encounter... Doubt you'll make it too easy for them. :)

Long drawn out breath...I think I held it for the last chapter and this one! And had a heartfelt Yeah at the end of this chapter. Had to go back and read both of them again as I so quickly read through the fight that I had to find out what happen and then re-read to make sure I got all of the action. Would love to have seen this on the screen, this is so STARGATE action! Looking forward to the next chapter when then finally walk through the gate or are they? Thanks so much!

I've always wondered if an animal would be willing to go through a gate. maybe blindfolded, like when your trying to get them out of a fire or a wreck? its still seems like a lot to ask an animal though, lot of trust involved.

Please don't kill off the horses or the newbie! I've been reading you three series for awhile now and really like them. I usually skip the graphic parts, but I admit to growing attached to Biscuit and to Josh. I had a spirited horse like her...and all the horses gave their best.
