This whole story has been an absolute delight in every way but I simply HAD to leave a comment on this specific chapter. Of the various manifestations of your obvious gift of word craft, I enjoy your Anakin/Obi-Wan banter the most; it's the perfect blend of genuinely funny (I laughed out loud at the nightmarish fast-moving Hutt) and infinite barely-concealed affection. Every line of this chapter made my silly little grin grow wider :) I miss you and your updates.

You seem to be under the impression that the higher the hyperdrive's number, the faster it is. It is quite the opposite. A .1 hyperdrive would make the clones' training vehicles the fastest ships in the galaxy, and a 3 would make rumor fly far slower than an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Other than that, it's very beautifully written.

I have really enjoyed reading this story - so glad that I discovered. Needless to say perhaps, but I became so hooked that I simply had to read the whole thing in one day.

The plot of this story is wonderful, and I really loved Phia. She's a lovely character, well-written as all the others are. It's nice to see how a ... well, an outsider of our favourite trio might react to the relationships they have. After all, they aren't exactly conventional. The style of writing, characterisations, and a plot all made for a wonderful and interesting read. I definitely glad to have discovered this, and I'm certain this will be one of the fics that I reread time and time again.

Sweeping star-scapes, skirling robes, gentle touches; I just love the tone that this whole story is written in. I'm reading this again after several years and it's just as well-written and sweeping in it's style as I so fondly remember. Really one of the best stories I've read on this website.

The entire story has been breathtaking. I've read it in one day and neglected everything else I should have been doing.

"That's right my friend. And don't your forget it." Is Obi-Wan echoing Mace here? This sounds so familiar, and I feel like you've written Mace saying it to Qui-Gon at some point. Perhaps Exodus?

as always, your stories bring up my bar of expectations for writers. Your gift of words is quite refined.

So, that was, without a doubt, one of the best fics ever. You have such an amazing way of writing - showing without telling at its best - and such a deft handle on the characters.

There were several scenes that deserve a shout out, but my favourites were those between Anakin and Obi-wan. The layers of complexity within their banter were wielded amazingly well. In particular, the scene from Organa's point of view (in which he contemplates the relative merits of caff) was an absolute thing of beauty.

You did fantastic, and no, no, no, no, no. Why are you making these characters like Phia who are so lovable and perfect and wonderful when THEY ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!

I both love and hate how you've made this glorious thing that gives all the characters so much depth, and there's so many friendship feels and so much warm fuzzy... but still contains all the little hints of how the third film is still going to happen.

It's still going to happen.

Oh, no, Phia. You poor dear... Darn it Obi! Why couldn't you figure out the dark side exposure headaches were from hanging with the chancellor? Darn it, darn it, darn it! Another opportunity to go AU and you MISSED it!
