Hmmnnnn, I really like this. I don't normally like bloodplay (it wasnt much tho), but you weaved it in beautifully. The way you developed the dynamic between hirato an silver!yogi is interesting and gorgeous. The self sacrificing hirato is very fitting

I like how you warned me about this story. Azii, I've read Story of the Eye. It's practically impossible for you to write something more scarring than that.

That being said, this is definitely dark. I like it a lot though. It's very different from Karnevalesque, but not in a bad way. This sort of writing fits your style so well. This story is gorgeous, especially the small bloodplay (can I call it that?) scenes. I don't really have a sentence or paragraph I like most. Really, I just love the entire thing.

I'm also really impressed by you managing to keep them all in character in such a different sort of situation. I especially enjoy how Yogi acts in this.

I definitely like gold!Yogi more than silver. I love the idea of silver!Yogi lusting after Hirato like this though and craving his blood (in a non-vampire way). Yooogiiii, I think your logic may be a bit flawed. Hirato is trying to kill you, yet he's using you as a pet to fight his battles? You're wrong in either case.

Wow this is definitely not Karnavalesque, but it's brilliant I couldn't have ever imagined a better development between this two characters I wish you could continue this story. But well it is fine. I'd still ship normal Yogi and Hirato better than HiratoxSilver!Yogi, but I'll be damned if you didn't pull this off. Yogi, stop being so shippable and lovable even when you're broken! This was amazing, Azii. So much so that I don't have the words. Like, I'm almost literally speechless. I can't explain all of the things that are so right with everything being so /wrong/. I should have YOU write Toy Soldier as a request for me; Lord knows you'd pull Silver!Yogi off better than me.
